I believe this time, that is the coming vote for the M&R, an open shop would've produced a different outcome by placing the TWU under pressure to pay for their expenses. One being the representation of dues objectors, even without receiving dues from those not participating in the union. Please correct me if I am wrong.Who is claiming that open shop would prevail on contract rejection? I hope that's just a hypothetical example...
