Planned Pilot sick-out on Friday

I hear the AWA pilots worship Satan and drink the blood of new born babies.

HELLO! Just because someone knows someone, who heard something, doesn't make it true.

This is obviously some AWA tool trying to discredit USALPA.

Hey, Elevation, want some chap-stick?

USAPA SPECIAL NOTICE

We have received a copy of a flier, alleged by the Company to have been posted in US Airways’ workplaces by a US Airways pilot, advocating a “No-Fly Day.” The flier includes a reference to USAPA.

We hereby advise all US Airways pilots that the flier in question was neither published nor authorized by USAPA. In our view, the suggested No-Fly Day would be both a violation of the Railway Labor Act and contrary to the interests of the pilot group.

If you want change, then sign and submit the USAPA authorization card found below. Do not participate in an illegal job action that would subject the pilot group to court action and potential sanctions. Instead, change to a labor union whose exclusive mission is to protect the interests of US Airways pilots. Click HERE for an Authorization Card.

So are you saying AWA guys are in the east crew rooms handing out fliers on the sick out???  AWA guys do not have to even try to discredit USALPA they do it themselves  . This is an East thing...let's sit back and watch it fail. :jerry:

The only place I've heard of a sickout is on this board. One more ridiculous thing from USAPA blaming west to deflect any blame that might come their way.

Good point.. The only place I have heard about the "sickout" is from this board too. Thanks for repeating that. And it is the West pilots that keep saying it is gonna happen but haven't stood up to condemn it. <_<

I have heard many pilots talking about this so called sick out. Its not just on this board the talk is real. If it amounts to anything only time will tell. Todays rumor floating around is that they have been warned not to go through with this course of action. If they do so there will be lawsuits. Against who I do not know.

If the rumors are true then ALPA will be complicit since they have not come out and condemned it.

In what city were fliers handed out?

That's not a fact, that's a lie.

Facts are boring

ROTFLMAO I do see that your heartfelt notion as per "facts" has clearly hampered all of your previous postings  Keep the Faith.."Brother Pilot".

I'm back to "These people are a neverending source of amusement"

I can't help but think that this would be the last straw for any pax who was stranded or screwed.

It is not about the passengers!!!!!!

It is about the mistreatment of the employees, pilots in particular!!!!!!

Nothing that we do happens in a vacuum. Everything that we do has consequences, many of which are unintended.

A union protests getting screwed by staging a sick-in...thereby screwing other (innocent) people who bought a ticket in good faith. Your target is the bosses, but the ones who will feel the pain are your customers. Where is the sense or justice in that?

If a business isn't "about" its customers, then it is a business that is about to fold.

Friday will show the resolve of the east and how much support USAPA has. They are going to lay there cards down for all to see. This should be fun to watch as they fail again.

Sorry to disappoint you. This has nothing to do with USAPA support.
