Planned Pilot sick-out on Friday

Friday will show the resolve of the east and how much support USAPA has. They are going to lay there cards down for all to see. This should be fun to watch as they fail again.

Your as bad as Doug at Spinning. Everything I've read is that the USAPA is against the sickout.

As I've said before, time for a little "ELEVATION" from Dougs' behind.

USAPA SPECIAL NOTICE

We have received a copy of a flier, alleged by the Company to have been posted in US Airways’ workplaces by a US Airways pilot, advocating a “No-Fly Day.â€￾ The flier includes a reference to USAPA.

We hereby advise all US Airways pilots that the flier in question was neither published nor authorized by USAPA. In our view, the suggested No-Fly Day would be both a violation of the Railway Labor Act and contrary to the interests of the pilot group.

If you want change, then sign and submit the USAPA authorization card found below. Do not participate in an illegal job action that would subject the pilot group to court action and potential sanctions. Instead, change to a labor union whose exclusive mission is to protect the interests of US Airways pilots. Click HERE for an Authorization Card.

Those are the public statements to keep there butts out of trouble. USAPA are slowly turning into ALPA anyway they might get some respect if they did something.

The WEST started it to make the EAST look bad?

Phoenix, you're a retard. What's next... Black Helicopters over USAPA reps houses, guys in sedans following you around? Great, another paranoid union official.

I've been flying up and down the east coast for days and this the first I've heard of a sick out.
It sounds counter productive to me.

And childish.

the pilots have waited long enough.
equal pay 4 equal work.
mgmt. has a deaf ear.
maybe this'll wake em up.

Phoenix, you're a retard.

Instead of throwing insults why don't you demonstrate some intelligence and show us where ALPA, the AWA Mec, or Grog, says that no pilot should participate in a sick out? The only people I hear from that are talking about a sick out are the West. I haven't heard anyone from the East bring it up.

Won't ever happen. That "Elevated" individual has demonstrated an amazing inability to actually read, and/or comprehend many, many times before this  I must assume that the lips in question are superglued tight to..well/etc.

Contrary to your conspiracy theory, USAPA opposes a sick out. There is no "public" plan and "private" plan. I know of no one on the east who would think a sick out helps USAPA or the USAir pilots.

Why will no one on the West codemn a sickout?

"Why will no one on the West codemn a sickout?" A very good question. A westie first posts/pushes the rumour, and more jump on board to say that any "failure" in the supposed "planned sickout" should/would indicate an imaginary failure for a union not yet in place, that's publicly come out against such anyway. Hmmm....I'm having a minor flashback to resistance/pow school's notions on Enemy Disinformation

I guess that I'll have to go with my now standard response = These people are a neverending source of amusement ;)

The only place I've heard of a sickout is on this board. One more ridiculous thing from USAPA blaming west to deflect any blame that might come their way.

I have heard many pilots talking about this so called sick out. Its not just on this board the talk is real. If it amounts to anything only time will tell. Todays rumor floating around is that they have been warned not to go through with this course of action. If they do so there will be lawsuits. Against who I do not know.

Geeezues....isn't there the slightest requirement within AWA for you guys to actually be able to READ!!?? I realize that you guys only need a high school "education"...but sheesh!!USAPA has come out AGAINST such an action....let me put that in Grog-speak = Oooga...that's oooga!..not boooga..got it now? :)

PS: I get it = the west is "so special" , and all you guys matter so much....that all we do here out east is construct ways of blaming you...grow tha' F up.

The last thing this company needs is a pilot sickout. I doubt it will happen but if it does I guess I'll go buy my US memorabilia now so I can put it on display next to my TW and Eastern memorabilia. It may be a collectors item one day.
