But only after you filled out the membership application form. Have you did that with USAPA yet?ALPA sent me an information package as a newhire at two airlines. I'm not complaining, I'm just stating a fact.

I would not expect any West pilot to ever join USAPA. Doing so would give USAPA some legitimacy which of course they do not have. You cannot expect the West to load the gun for their own execution, not gonna happen. You guys outnumber us, thats all; and sooner or later it will catch up with you.
Thanks. The only "courtesy, US" was that the holding company was still US Group. US didn't have the money to pay off it's own formerly ATSB guaranteed loan until the outside investor money flowed in after the merger, at which time both loans were refinanced - not paid off.

It is like Hillary staying the primary even though there is no chance of winning. By staying, she has a good chance of getting Obama to publicly endorse parts of her policies or leverage some participation in the process, of getting something good for her views. You keep chanting that without joining usapa the west won't get a vote. We know that. We also know that even if all 1800 joined and voted it wouldn't matter anyway. The east tyranny truly in evidence.
For those who choose to repsond, and I do welcome your thoughts, I ask that we elevate this discussion and keep it on a professional level. We can and will disagree on such topics. Our ability to post our opinions freely is what makes this a great country. oh yeah, the NMB, I have an issue with them also.
Yours is coming.
You missed your true calling, I think comedy would be more appropriate. You might try some Depends.

Legitimacy? USAPA doesn't need any west pilot to be a member or pay dues to be legitimate. The NMB is the sole determinant of the legitimacy of a collective bargaining agent for RLA covered labor groups. They determined on April 17th that USAPA is legitimate, and there is nothing that the west pilots can do or not do for the next two years that will change that. Sorry to burst your self-importance bubble.
Actually, if the merger is announced soon, the west pilots would indeed be given an opportunity to do something inside of the 2 year window when another ALPA-USAPA election is called.
Don't hold your breath.Only after the sen. list was resolved, as per the recent Bill past reguarding M&A. Only then may a vote for repersention take place.
That also means a list of both airlines combined, so USAPA will be there for some time.
Thank you for your opinion. as humble as it was.Don't hold your breath.
Just ask the IAM how that theory went over.
I think you'll see the NMB render a SBU decision prior to an integration talks.
IMHO.
And you keep dreaming your little dream.Thank you for your opinion. as humble as it was.
You may wish to start using facts in order to flesh out your arguments. Even one (1) fact would be good.
