Your prior time doesnt count for pension accrual, you joined the IAMNPF in 1999, accrual starts then.
I understand that 700 but 1999 to 2013 is 14 yrs minus my 1.5 of furlough is at least 12.5 yrs more or less. The 39 yr figure didn't apply to anything really. Everyone should look at theirs and check to see that it is correct.

the iampf started in 2003. The first contract in 1999 had up to 10% including ot going into your 401k. The iampf was a 47 million concession in our first bk.

Thx Tim...just found it on the website. 2003 - 2013 doesn't add up to 6 yrs 10 mo accrual . I have emailed them for the correction

Even though the iam is negotiate under sec 6 are they going to negog as a nbr 1 airline for both groups or no

Only after sec 6 is taken care of. Then a TA for both. I think a few people have already said that. CB / 700 / Tim / Ograc...

Brothers/Sisters  i suggest a inquiry be conducted by LCC IAM NC and International into the accuracy of ALL LCC/US Members IAM Pension Plan Accounts. Personally and talking with other Members i believe many accounts are not accurate or up to date. Possibly because of LCC reporting and accounting SHENANIGANS ?

Thats what I thought mike I would think that may be the iam has more leverage but it will be interesting to see what if any offers be made I doubt itll be favorable but time will tell

Good suggestion. The website calculations show different number of eligible years compared to the printed version i received yesterday. Had to contact them thru email from the site and they said they will investigate and reply within 30 days. It's a couple hundred $$ difference per month from what i calculate for myself.

Sounds close. I just got my NPF estimate in the mail and it only has 6 yrs 10 months of service. That seems wrong as i have been here for more than 39 yrs with only 1,5 yrs of furlough. Doesn't add up. I want to make sure i have all the facts before calling them.     Thanks

Mike33......maybe the NPF did not recognize your time @ HP. Also, I believe that calculations only go through 2012. Go build a house in Figi and enjoy yourself. You have earned the right. Happy Holidays if I do not touch base with you.

I would agree. LCC's accounting and reporting is "fuzzy math" in a lot of cases. A full audit should be requested by the IAM.

Yes, no JCBA talks until after section 6.
Filing for single carrier status can only be done by the union. At this point; it is the union's leverage in Section 6 negotiations. CONTRACTS FIRST for the outstanding bargaining units at US (MTC & Related and Fleet) before entering into JCBA talks. Without single carrier status; the newly merged airlines cannot integrate seniority or work. Without this integration they cannot achieve the projected "synergies" of this merger as promised to Wall Street and the shareholders. Without a JCBA both groups will continue to work their own metal. The leverage is there. Let's hope the District leadership uses it wisely.
