And what if someone thought YOU were the dirt bag and decided to get rid of YOU.

Always amazes me how we all think we're the best workers under the aun even if maybe others don't feel the same.
I was at US 12 years without a union never had a problem. In fact grievances were solved a lot quicker without the union. We went union when the company took more from us then the union workers Oh and by the way it took the union  almost five years from the time being certified to get a contract thats five years without a raise that alone should deter  any  senior DL employee

If you go work for Delta you better be clean cut and have your shirt tucked in. Spit shine those shoes too while you're at it.

That memo hasn't made it to JFK or LGA...what I used to see tumbling off the East Loop bus in the parking lot at LGA was far  from spit and polish.Same can be said for JFK as well.

The consensus on the floor is;   Since the TWU played the concessions for jobs campaign and was unsuccessful, the new motivation is pay me to make a living!

So what there ramp makes $12. I think our ramp make too much already just to throw bags. But if the Co wants to pay I do not have a problem with that. But I have a problem with keeping the mechanics pay lower to subsidize the ramp. Here is where our International comes in and noone as the balls to say that is what is going on.

Mark this date so the Association does not take credit for any raises we recieve in our contract thanks to Delta!  Just like what happened in 2001 with Northwest Airlines!!

Sad. DL did good by its employees. Looks more and more like the APA, APFA, and TWU jumped in bed with the wrong management. Arpey is looking better and better everyday.

And for all the griping, moaning, complaining and problems your group constantly causes, there are many that firmly believe you are overpaid as well.

Maybe the TWU should have cut the cord years ago and watched you sink.

Just saying.

When the FAA comes-a-calling, they don't care where you got your licenses. The FAA has made it clear, they will be going after the mechanics directly when they feel FARs have been violated. Not many airline employees have to worry about that. Isn't this worth something in terms of $$$$$. It is for pilots.

How is it grasping at straws?
They have zero scope language, their medical is horrible.
They outsource all airframe overhaul.
The ramp has 40% ready reserve who make $12 an hour with no benefits.
Large stations like CLT, MIA, and RDU are all outsourced.
DL brought 12 stations to the merger the IAM represented ramp brought 40, DL had 43 ramp stations the new AA has 50.
The cut their profit sharing by 33% two years ago.
Shall I go on?
Enough already, we would like to discuss the latest Delta announcement.
