ATD said:No concessions, they will just do like when comparing to SWA. If you want A contract that looks like Delta then AA will want to mirror their scope also. I think we have about 16 mechanics per a/c what does delta have.
They are going to say want DL money we need DL work rules. This really does change things though ....will seeWeAAsles said:If the goal post for DL to dole out PS has been raised to an almost ridiculous metric to be reached then why are we still going to expect Parker to stand with the DL + 7%?
I'm thinking (maybe) that 7% call could be lowered to 3% above?
Better keep a keen eye on the work rules and other things in the middle of our future TA when it comes out?
Yes I'm suspicious?

You're grasping at straws now it's kind of pathetic700UW said:DL has no work rules, they are non-union employees at will.
You can go on all you want and a could give you an equal list here at IAM US. I'm in the same building as DL and they are just like any other airline they have their good and their bad but in Dec they will be getting payed higher. in fact right now, i'll bet DL employees are a lot happier that your union brothers at UAL700UW said:How is it grasping at straws?
They have zero scope language, their medical is horrible.
They outsource all airframe overhaul.
The ramp has 40% ready reserve who make $12 an hour with no benefits.
Large stations like CLT, MIA, and RDU are all outsourced.
DL brought 12 stations to the merger the IAM represented ramp brought 40, DL had 43 ramp stations the new AA has 50.
The cut their profit sharing by 33% two years ago.
Shall I go on?
Man o man,,, I wish we were a non union shop....700UW said:DL has no work rules, they are non-union employees at will.
If you go work for Delta you better be clean cut and have your shirt tucked in. Spit shine those shoes too while you're at it.Albert said:You can go on all you want and a could give you an equal list here at IAM US. Yes i prefer a more relaxed enviroment (sometimes) but requiring me to be clean cut is not going to make me sign a card. I also like the way DL gets rid of the dirt bags. We are in the same bagroom as DL here at LGA so I know a few myself. Now do you think with todays anouncement the company will drag their feet in negotiations after all we have a contract until 2017WeAAsles said:If you go work for Delta you better be clean cut and have your shirt tucked in. Albert trust me. I've talked to quite a few Delta rampers. You don't want to wear their shoes.
And what if someone thought YOU were the dirt bag and decided to get rid of YOU.Albert said:Yes i prefer a more relaxed enviroment (sometimes) but requiring me to be clean cut is not going to make me sign a card.
