I guess our negotiators are meeting with themselves starting again today to to see what they can save.
According to Parker, the 4% raise has already been budgeted and since the majority were given their
raises on 1-5-15, would seem like to me our 4% should be retro back to that date. If it were in the budget, then the money
would be accounted for already. Of course in Parker's eyes, that's just money the company is making off the Association.
Sorry, retro is NOT in AA's vocabulary...

Parker loves all of us

“These results are especially remarkable considering the significant and successful work underway to integrate two airlines. The more than 100,000 dedicated team members of American Airlines are doing a phenomenal job and we are grateful for their commitment to our customers,” he said.

JMHO.
Your 'unions' screwed you, and you helped them... :p
Now you are bound by the A$$ociation agreement.
2 Years of iam rule, then twu (maybe) gets a turn.
IMHO, for the first two years, twu is toothless (if that is even possible,,, :p )...

If you want to see your 'union' representation, look no further than 700UW.
Dictatorial representation as you are too ignorant to understand the complexities of representation, business and economics.

what I want to know is:

what is the battle pan of the TWU ATD or  TWU loyalists if the company gives us all raises for outsourcing more work and /or losing jobs?

what will the position of the TWU ATD.....vote yes?  (they have never told us to vote "no" on any contract)

I am raising the question and..................

This is interesting,  usually when i post, i get a quick response from overspeed, twu loyalists, and ex-twu union officers undercover....oh thats right they only like to knock AMFA , without AMFA, what do they have to talk about?

These knuckle heads better come back ready to negotiate with the company.not some bull s*it meetings set up for September.

The third quarter profits will surpass the record breaking 2nd quarter .
where is the twu atd officials and their plan?
What if the company offers money for more outsourcing?
What is the plan?
what will be the twu atd position?
What is taking so long we i th a jcba?
What about retro pay?

The silence is deafening

Typically 3rd. quarter results are very good. In this case they can be record breaking. It makes no difference to the twu. It will be business as usual. You would think they be talking about increasing our 401K match. Possibly giving us our 4% now. It's not like the company can't afford too or the company is losing money. I see outsourcing for increase in pay. Question is how much outsourcing and loss of jobs will there be and still pass a contract? You know, the old divide and conquer tactic.

Another question to ask  is the company taking full advantage of the outsourcing that the CURRENT contract allows? I don't think they are. The language already exists for outsourcing. It is a matter of what other work rule changes they want. They are preaching Delta +7%....My bet is they want Delta work rules in return.
The other question ta ask yourself is: Are you willing to vote down a raise in exchange for jobs? Because if you are, let me remind people that contract after contract we were told by the TWU to vote YES so that jobs would be saved and outsourcing stemmed. Well, how has that worked for us to date?  Pretty liberal outsourcing language, work rules and well over 5000 less mechanics.
I don't t think the TWU will succeed this time and convince the IAM people that we should seek to save OH jobs especially in TULE at the expense of work rule and pay increases.
