Not defending it, just stating what happened and how we got here. The Association is now the law of the land. Like it or not.

Just like same sex marriage? Law of the land? Sorry I'm not gay. Maybe the AFL-CIO is a gay marriage made in Washington DC. Does not mean it applies to me, just like the one size fits all association?

If you all were so anti-association and anti-twu, why havent you been able to get enough AMFA cards signed?

Because we need Internet, IAM trolls like you to keep reminding us.

When are the next meetings scheduled?
I think they are on the same schedule as congress. After the summer break. They want to enjoy the summer with their families. Every time the clock strikes midnight signifies another savings of 4% for the company.

bigjets,
The AFL-CIO urged both the TWU and the IAM to work something out. The compromise is the Association.
Which was against the NMB own process and history according the one descending member...

Simple, fear and uncertainty propagated by the TWU.

And the casino is only 2 hours down the road...

If you are so pro UNION and association how come you have not been to a UNION hall in two years (by your own admission)?

Anyone have meeting schedule info?
Was told July 27 thru Aug 7 and then hopefully with the company in Sept.

I guess time is of the essence!

On a aviation side note, with the Iran deal, analyst say 500,000 barrels of oil a day will hit the market.
Dropping gas prices dramatically (eventually)...and increasing airline profits.
