Ok let me tell you..........

THE TRUTH........

AS AN AMT SITTING WITH A COMPANY IN BANKRUPTCY YOU HAVE NO I REPEAT "NO" POWER TO DEMAND ANYTHING...... Now Its been tried once before..

I have the power to not only demand, but cause a change of Union Representation.

Much of the Banruptcy Law has not been challenged to the limit and even lawyers cannot tell us past a certain point what the outcome would be, so you are patently wrong

You know maybe you have not been keeping up with the AMT industry

We have an "OUTSOURCING PROBLEM"

WELL HEAR AT ALASKA AIRLINES (AND BUSINESS IS DOING GOOD) DO TO OUTSOURCING OUR NUMBERS HAVE BEEN CUT MORE THAN 50%. ALL OUR "C" CHECKS GONE. NOW THE ONLY WAY WE CAN GET WORK BACK IS TO BID ON IT? I DON'T THINK ANYTHING HAS COME BACK? (this my be a loaded ?) Does anyone know?

I was clocking out at work tonite and i overheard someone say that AMFA does not have enough cards signed. Does anyone know how close we are???

Okay, the "TRUTH" is always good

Do tell.....lets hear about the "once" before...No power you say...United?

As a UAL mechanic I'd love to hear an Alaska mechanics take on UALs bankruptcy

Do you think you will get outsourcing lower by voting no?

No idea. Negotiations are and have been so secret, who could possibly know?

There is no way we can trust anything the TWU and/or Company says anymore.

There is no way I trust anything you say.

My intentions are to not volunteer 35%, you can if you want to.

Don't look for any card count exposure until the NMB gets the cards

A 'mechanics only" union is only a fantasy in the real world. The RLA and NMB determine what work groups are lumped together during a union representation election. No matter who wins the election they are going have licensed and non-licensed groups to represent. As much as I dislike the TWU there is no way that amfa has the money to fight a battle in C11 that cost MILLIONS OF DOLLARS per month in legal fees. The IBT is the only REAL UNION being offered to mechanics and related at AA and has more money, political clout, worldwide name recognition than either the TWU or amfa.
"GO IBT"

Give us a list of the work groups that make up the current Teamsters Airline Divsion?

How many members are in the Teamsters Airline Division?

Of that number how many are mechanic and related members?

Does majority rule govern the Teamsters?

How does the minority in the Airline Division have their voices heard and
issues work on with laser focus when majority rules?

What is the class or craft of the current Officers of the Teamsters Airline Division?

Where is your proof that an AA employee without a license are not mechanics? Is that your opinion or the official Teamsters position?

FACT: The A&P Mechanics are the majority and always will be in the AMFA.

So your opinion is that $600,000.00 in dues per month is not enough to represent the mechanic and related group at AA?

Is this why the Teamsters dues are 2.5 hours per month and why the Teamsters rasied the Dues Amount when representing SWA mechanics to 3 hours per month without a vote of the members?

If the Teamsters can represent the mechanics better on money, poltical clout and worldwide name recognitionm then why is outsourcing, bankruptcy laws, and issues like NAFTA still a thorn in labors ass?

Your rhetoric is in direct conflict with the facts.

The last part of your user name is correct as it pertains to the teamsters = EVIL

"GO IBT"

And all that "money, political clout, worldwide name recognition" has done exactly what for our profession?

The ibt couldn't stop Horizon Air - A REGIONAL CARRIER - from outsourcing, and the losers even agreed in writing NOT to speak against the outsourcing in public.

Real "teamster power" there.

Oh BTW, AMFA took over the Mechanics at UAL during bankruptcy, so you're gonna have to make up some other story to try and play the Bankruptcy Card.

Nice try
