There is blame on both sides.
But how do you on strike with no strike fund?
That is stupid.
Ask the TWU that question too, because we have no strike fund either.

Great post, Go AMFA!No you're stupid...When a company in this case NWA gives you a contract to vote on that eliminates 53% of your workgroup and a 25% cut in pay for the rest I think its pretty clear it is not going to pass the membership vote. I had 17 years at that time and I was in the 53% who was going to get kicked to the curb do you really think I was going to vote yes on that contract?..It was by design NW had spent millions and 2 yrs recruting scabs and making the proper payoffs to govenment to help this plan fall into place. AMFA was too militant for NWA unlike the lapdog IAm who could not bring back a decent contract in the best of times in aviation which is why they got kicked to the curb..Although I make 6 figures now thanks to working for a great company and our 2001 AMFA contract that we had at NWA that raised the bar for the entire industry. Now a race to the bottom again thanks to the IAm and TWu. If it were not for AMFA in 2001 mechanics today would be lucky if they made 30 dollars an hour.

NWA did not break or try to....AMFA did that on there own.
Who told you to post that?
ONE WORD.... IDIOT ! I'm sure some of the former NWA AMTs would like to get ahold of you. Were did that come from? No one told me to post it.

The TWU, Never! All the TWU does is protect the other than maintenance groups. So after all said and done. You have to let your family know, you tried but it didn't work. How long was the union there to help? There had to be a plan? I mean you don't go into battle witout a clear strategy. This is something these AA tech should know. Since you are asking them to change unions with a bankrupt airline that wants concessions from them.
Come on now... If you want to become a member of AMFA your going to have to be and present yourself as a Professional. Act accordingly.
