I agree.

Unfortunately, now is not the time people want to change again. There is a lot of talk lately at my station and other sCAL stations do to the ibt not giving us a voice on the integration of our seniority like AMFA gave SWA and airtran.

A drive will start at the new UAL, I guarantee it, it's just not the right time NOW. I do know that your drive and eventual success in getting AMFA in at AA will rocket propel us at UAL.

AMFA will be the representative of the majority of A&P's and related soon, that is for sure.

By the way, I would like to thank all of you at AA for putting in the time and energy to better OUR profession.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me say this when the time comes count me in, I knew very little about the IBT until they decided to run interference for the TWU and that has forced me to learn about them and it is clear they are the cookie cutter industrial union and need to be put out of the industry.

I hope our drive will shed light on their weakness and the failures of industrial unionism as a idea this is where we have to hit them IAM/TWU/IBT all the same! Industrial unionism started in 1955 with the advent of the AFL-CIO and has been a unmitigated failure for the last 58 years.

IMHO, Anomaly is a good representation of the IBT razzle-dazzle, deflect, change the subject, defer responsibility, obfuscate, twist, deceive and out right lie.
Personally, IMHO, IBT is TWU on steroids.
Now it is known that the IBT & TWU are in bed together against an AMFA drive, get ready for a barrage of half truths, innuendos and out right lies.

I'll chide in from time to time to set the record straight but doubt a direct and truthful retort from the IBT/TWU spin machine.

Take Care,
B) xUT

Good idea. Let us all know when you decide to start to offer a "truthful report"....LOL

It is not the "Industrial Unions" that are against AMFA, it is former members like me who have leaned just how damaging this pretend association can be.

Nobody has to pay me to be on this site. I do this all on my own because I learned how bad AMFA can be.

psssst,

hey odie01.... they tried. We didn't want them.

Why do you think they are targeting you ????

You really are a well oiled industrial unionist machine.
I like the postings where you speak for everyone. Just like James C Little of the TWU.

I'll bet someone does pay you to post on this site!

Either the teamsters or the twu.

Glad you're not trying to influence anyone on this site.

You are being paid to post here. You hide behind your alias and lie. That is typical of industrial unionists who fear craft unionism.

Who is paying you to be in this site? Or the TWUinformer? or you DNTULSA?

Why is it such a stretch for you to accept the fact that some people are willing to speak up in favor or against an idea? You call yourselves the democratic union but do not want to listen to ideas contrary to yours.

Nobody has to pay me to expose the truth and danger of throwing in with group like AMFA. Their intention is to divide.

In every represented airline there is a splinter contingent of AMFA employees who push and push and push. As this thread should prove, they do not speak against the corporations that are the ones causing the troubles, they instead focus their anger on the other mechanics in their ranks. These AMFA supporters cause dissension and mistrust within the work group that will never go away by a simple election. Regardless of the Union, once AMFA is involved, you will always have STRONG opinions for and against which take away focus from the company. While we fight amongst ourselves, the company does what it wants realizing their is no unified power in the Union.

If anyone was paid, it was surely the AMFA representatives who first divided the workforce. The company got it's moneys worth for that investment.

AMFA is a deadly cancer, and we are all infected.

Hey jackwagon, Do you really think this is our first time? We have all heard your lame, tired excuses too many times to count. It's clear you have no idea of what your talking about, especially when your talking about the history of the TWU at AA.

I will tell you why everyone is not fooled by you, and they know you are a paid teamster employee. Because it's the obvious of two choices. That being the first, or you really are a mechanic for UAL and are so naive that it is unbelievable, being the second.

A naive person does not have 246 posts on a forum full of lies in a 2 week span of time. So it has to be you are a piad LIAR for the SCAB corporation calling itself a union, the ibt.

You forget we are troubleshooters. By nature we look into things and see them as they are.

Sure glad you are not here trying to influence anyone.

I'm am willing and capable of listening to ideas (opinons?) contrary to mine. I state that you are doing so behind an alias because you are a paid troll... nothing more/nothing less.

Contrary idea (opinion?)? Okay: You believe that a skilled AMT should belong in an industrial union. I do not.

You believe that skilled AMTs should belong to an industrial union where officers are appointed. I do not.

AMFA's intention is to divide? And the teamster's prescence at AA is to unite ramp and AMTs?

AMFA members cause dissention? By talking about the benefits of having a craft union that is democratic this causes dissention? I guess it does cause dissention amongst those who hide behind an alias while trying to rationalize why a skilled craft belongs in an industrial union.

Your paid blah, blah, blah doesn't come close to preventing the main message why there is an AMFA drive here at AA. Industrial unions that pretend to be democratic, like the twu and teamsters, are NOT the best organization for AMTs to belong to. That is what this whole drive is about... better representation. The twu can not/has not provided the representation that AMTs pay for. The teamsters can not provide the representation AA AMTs need either.

Why would AA AMTs remove the twu and replace them with the teamsters? Both are cut from the same cloth. Both are industrial and undemocratic unions. Period. You can not defend against these facts yet you still try to "influence" people.

"Deadly cancer"? Yes, industrial, undemocratic unions are a deadly cancer for AMTs.
