What about other paid holidays. MLK day is a paid holiday next year. Why is it not included in the list of holidays?
So MLK is a paid holiday for fleet next year? Yet your company intentionally left it out of the 'holiday period' while making the Christian holiday a two week ban with required doctor's note?

Im personally offended as a Christian and ordained pastor that a company would possibly discrimminate against a Christian holiday and not some other paid holidays nor any other religious holiday. Making the Christian holiday a 'two week period' seems to further imply hating on Christians. I think any grievance that spells out the hating of Christians through discrimination is profane, unacceptable, and winnable in arbitration. Who exactly drafted your new ACP?

When are we supposed to receive the other half of our raise? When did the the total number of sick days on the books go up to 150 in order to receive 100% sick pay if you call in sick? I think someone is screwing around with the contract, and trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

We do'nt have fleet in GSO......add BWI

I glanced at the combined seniority list and answered my own question about which Stations East of DFW have Fleet, but in doing so, I came up with a couple other questions to throw out there...

It does look like there is Fleet Svc. in GSO according to the seniority list. It also appears that there are Fleet Agents in some of the following stations, albeit in limited numbers in some cases: DTW,ATL,IAH,CLE,PNS,CHS,IAD,BNA,MDT,PWM,ABE,ILM,ORF,RIC ...etc...

I thought some of these stations were outsourced LONG ago... why would there still be agents listed in these stations? Is it in a "LEAD" capacity helping the express side of the operation or supervising a contract company? Do we do our own ramp work in these cities or what?
Any peeps in these cities with some input?

Those employees from Mainline may have stayed with the outfit that took over those cities amd remain on furlough til June 2009. Piedmont took the ramp in ABE and now SYR as well as a number of other cities. In ABE PI handles a mainline A-319 5 DASH 8s and 2 CRJs not sure about other cities though. it sure feels terrific being back at MAinline.

It is my understanding that ex-agc PF is working on the ramp in PHL.
Has anyone asked him, how he likes working under the current contract,
the one he was in negotiations and signed. Just curious, when he tried to sell
it at my station, it was the best thing since buttered toast.
Welcome back PF.

Contract Booklets

Your contract calls for the company to produce contract booklets within 6 months for fleet members. My understanding is that the booklets are at the press now.

hold the presses,
it was found out by agc Crowell that the company omitted some things in the new contracts . one item was about them

having to give us a copy of our contract. so when the booklets come out.. the Grievance Committee will go through line for line and make sure the COMPANY didn't omit

anything else...

How do I go about rejoining the union now that I have completed my 2nd day at BWI and being back at mainlien feels great. I know I just started back at mainline but I was informed that it will take at least 2 weeks before Im officially in the system will that screw me over with getting a paycheck next friday if that is the actual payday?

Hope those Contract booklets make it out the the members soon! With all the changes happening, it would be nice to make sure the company is following what they agreed to...

unfortunately the company has a hard time playing by the rules they agree to. they say one thing to get you to sign

and then want to fight it every time they breach the agreement. the games they play.....

Once again they disrespect the membership with blameless apologies as to why the newly printed contracts are late! Not only are they late but the leadership needs to review them to make sure they didn't change a single letter or punctuation as this could affect the meaning of the language? HOW many points do they get for being late?????

NEW ATTENDANCE/PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

The Grievance Committee has filed a grievance on behalf of all PHX employees for this new program. Management has been pulling people in all this week. The form everyone is being asked to sign says "coaching discussion" which if outside 14 days since your last occurrence should not be valid.

Keep up the good work Prez,

I'm sure your management out there hasn't even seen grievance before since until now you guys
