wt  you darn well know you claim you told the board you visited break rooms galleys etc   now I know for darn sure you do not have access to do to the nature of it being in SIDA area.  You claim to be retired but I can tell you this much.. you do not have access to breakrooms in SIDA areas.  Heck my dad's been retired and he sure as heck does not have access to those breakrooms  you can slice it anyway you want but that is a fact  and facts are facts...

One piece at a time:

Like I said I was a participant in the raid, helped, assisted, worked, all the same meaning.

Consult a dictionary but they don't exactly have the same meanings in this context.  Pretty sure by a normal person standard "worked" implies you were a paid staff member.  I don't know about you but whenever I volunteer at events for organizations I am involved with I say "volunteered" not "worked" like the paid staff who I often work beside.

What is your connection to DL?

DL is my number two carrier behind AA. Held Gold or Platinum Medallion since 2007.  Haven't flown DL much this year but usually fly them every month or so.  Long DAL stock.

Why are you posting here?

Interested and knowledgeable about the airline industry, nice diversion from my work and family matters.  Nice platform to engage and discuss trends in the industry.

What is your connection to the IAM?

Am good friends with two NLS (Newark Speaker) F/As who had the IAM imposed on them 2007-2012 as dues objectors and are now United AFA dues objectors. Know the IAM as a backwards, top focused organization that puts the interests of the leadership above those of the "members" (dues payers) they aspire to represent.  Know this is the union that has brought back concession filled agreements to their members (Boeing, Caterpillar, Lockheed Martin, United Airlines specifically) when companies are solidly profitable and in some cases posting record profits.  The union that sold out their very own members at TWA for their own financial interests (see Bob Owens' post if you need a refresher on this one).  This is the union that helped bust another rival union AMFA at NWA.  Started the concessions train at USAIR in 2002 that had far reaching implications for airline workers across the industry.

What is your connection to the TWU?

They represent AA ramp and mechanics.  While this organization has serious challenges in comparison to the IAM, it is much better run and delivers for their members at WN and Local 100 in New York City,

What is your connection to US?

I presume you mean the trashy bottom feeder network carrier that merged with AMR Corp to form American Airlines Group on December 9, 2013. DividendMiles members who partakes in their frequent buy and share miles offers to later redeem for premium travel on partner airlines.    Fly their DCA shuttle occasionally, it is a consistent and reliable service that is convenient for me.  Flew USAIR Envoy to Israel last summer and had a horrid experience.  Generally avoid flying USAIR whenever possible.

What is your connection to AA?

Long AAL stock.  Lifetime Millionmiler member, Executive Platinum and Admirals Club member.  AA is my primary carrier and is very dear to me.  Know many agents and flight attendants working for the airline.

And by the way why does Richard Anderson and the other executives have employment contracts?

Standard practice for C-Suite officers. They are exposed to proprietary information and have immense responsibilities in managing the day to day and strategic interests of the corporation.  Employment contracts are necessary for these leaders to outline rights and responsibilities of both parties.

Why are they spending millions so the employees who make the profits for Delta cant have an employment contract?

No clue, you'd have to ask them.  Please do let us know how your contact is received and what answer they provide.  I'd venture to say the same reason the IAM operates a LearJet and pampers their union executives with other lavish perks.  DL doesn't need to justify this to any third party but is required by law to report this information to the DOL who makes it available to interested parties.

I hope my detailed and thoughtful responses provide meaningful enrichment.

Here's something even funnier. Let's say he can get around and poll people on their preference for being organized or not. OH YEA they're going to tell this guy how they really feel, LMAO.

I'd spot this guy coming all the way from FLL before he got anywhere near MIA. Tell this guy you like Unions and you might as well have your Walmart application already filled out.

You wouldn't spot me, I pass through MIA all the time.  Maybe next time I will surprise you.

And this says it all about you, you are not even worth a reply anymore.

And no one had the IAM imposed on them at Continental.

Of course I would spot you. You have the sideways black and white picture that I can reference.

But I'll probably be in Mexico attending a bullfighting event hoping the Matador get's mauled anyway when you come around?

And since he doesnt have a SIDA badge I doubt he will be able to surprise you, but I hope he does to the Miami Airport Police can haul him away.

He needs a thorough cavity search.

You asked, I delivered a thoughtful and detailed response.

And they have to pay an agency fee as dues objectors so it is imposed on them.

Fortunately the IAM had their arse handed to them in the election and by comparison the AFA is great union.

Nailed it.

No one's going to trust some rando that just shows up in their ready room. At a gate or in the terminal? Even less so...

And how many ramp or Flight Attendant breakrooms are before security checkpoints?

I would say none!

They are all in SIDA areas.
which is why there are galleys on aircraft and FAs do talk....

somehow I am supposed to believe that active employees only to each other.

most DL people I talk to are fascinated to hear what I have done since I left DL.

it's conversations... not a poll.

Do you know he is calling you a weasel?
it's called autocorrect. every time I try to spell it the way he uses it, the computer kicks in.

for the most part, I have given up.

choosing a user name that is a misspelled English word will do that.

I will say that I am enjoying weAAsles on this forum... once we got past the first few days and established how we would work together.

apparently someone over on the AA forum that thinks the DL forum is dead needs to come have a look!

Nailed it.

DL people don't trust union sales people. that is absolutely verifiable based on election results....

you do know we have a winner take all system right?

No its not imposed, when someone goes to work at CO for a FA job, a condition of employment is to be unionized, they can become an objector if they like, but no one forces them to take a job at CO.

Just what the FAs want, they want to talk to a retired non-rev, while they are busy working their flights.

Yea ok.
