And so did ALPA, AMFA's sister union the PFAA, and the TWU, and the IBT represented pilots at Champion Air flew replacement flights for NW.
24 post's , so far today and 6 hours left.
Please don't tell us your not on the IAM's payroll, because this thread has become a full time job for you!

...And free not to...

In all seriousness, you would do well to go back and read some of the many, many threads that are on here regarding AMFA at NW. You'll have to sift through a lot of crap, but there really is some very good stuff to be found from all angles. You may not like unions, but you ARE a member of the working class. Knowing your history is important.

I know, for a fact, whether I was represented by a union or not, I would never cross a picket line............I do, at least, have that much respect for someone else's job..........how 'bout you?

And any union that crosses another union's picket line , should be labeled "Anti-Worker", in my book!

I am not on the IAM's payroll, today is my day off, no events schedule.

So lets make a wager, oh wait, you wont pay off as you are a welcher.

And anyone who posts what you do with your anti-union venom is Anti-Worker!

Why would you be against ACS and FAs unionizing when it is there choice and not yours?

If you'd ever bother to pay attention, you'd know that this is likely the *only* sliver of common ground we share, ethics-wise.

Why do you feel the need to constantly remind everyone about your events business? You go to great lengths to remind everyone such as in this post.

No.

More accurately, thousands of DL employees "spanning multiple work groups" are seeking representation. They've chosen to approach the IAM about being the collective bargaining agent.
Introduce a workforce that was Unionized to a workforce who was not and this is likely to occur. Like any planted seed it just takes time to grow.

At US back after the first chapter 11 PHL was very short staffed, the Union and the company agreed to start them at higher level than entry level.

See it can happen.
It happens in many cities if the bottom rate is too low to satisfy the airport minimum or they aren't able to attract people to work for them. Here in MIA our new hires are starting at step 3.

...Or you can be DL, do both, and add a "C" scale to boot...

In October of 95 the members voted in a contract that started something called Jr Fleet Service Clerk. They were paid at a much lower rate than those hired before that date.

It was "VOTED"
out in a contract we received in 2000. There is no scales either now as everyone is on the same 9 year rate scale .

That's true, but if you'd read what I wrote, I already covered that. There's certainly movement, but not enough to alter a general conclusion in any sort of dramatic way.

It's not about me.
