Do you realize that US Fleet voted four times before the unionized?

You can continue to look backward if you want. Most people I know are more interested in improving their future.
I'm not looking backward.

I am saying that there is a very solid reason why DL people have consistently voted against further labor unionization except among the ? small group(s) (help me Kev) who voted for unionization after the merger. Meteorologists?

Do you really need a score card? C'mon...

Tell you what; I'll supply a full breakdown as soon as you agree to never again use the "small/large group" qualifiers.

absolutely.

tell me what groups and the number of employees that have voted for unionization at DL and I'll use those names.

anybody besides the meteorologists?

suppose F9 employees' decision had something to do with the massive layoffs there?

You can have a whole run down as soon as I see an explicit agreement in writing from you to never again use the large/small group designator(s).

Otherwise, direct your browser towards Google.

Let's call it a "future-focused paradigm."

Yep.

I told you I agreed to your conditions before.

I'm guessing there is nothing besides meteorology.no

actually, the F9 rampers and the B6 pilots are responding to the same HISTORIC things their companies have done to them.

DL, OTOH, has not taken that tact in decades.

It is no surprise that DL employees have decided unions aren't worth it.

Does that mean that you go onto the Wal-Mart discussion boards to post propaganda?

And whats to say they wont vote a union in now?

What was DL afraid of and had to lobby to raise the bar to call for an election?

You arent out there, you dont know whats going on, yet you portray you do, and yet you dont believe Kev who is active.

Why is it OK for unions to get rule changes, concerning elections but not companies.
No double standard there!

Which doesn't necessarily include a union!

As soon as you or 700 can tell us why IAM members, at Boeing, voted out the IAM!

Or pay a 3rd party, who's #1 goal is to stay in power, collect dues money, play golf, fly around in their corporate jet.....then take into consideration their members concerns!

Maybe this dude needs to apply at SW!

OK......one more time.....Why did IAM members vote out the IAM and get harassed by the IAM president?

How stupid are you?

The IAM represents over 45,000 at Boeing.

The plant you refer to has nothing to do with what happened in SEA where the members voted down a TA, the District negotiated a new one and then the District refused to send it out to a vote.

The International stepped in and let the members vote on it and they ratified it.

And if you are so concerned about what happened at the former Vought plant at CHS, Google it, I am sure you can find your answers there, but make sure you look at both sides!

I don't expect you will acknowledge that DOT data shows that the airport personnel category which includes rampers shows that DL paid that workgroup on average $8000 more per year than at US ($47K vs 39K) and the benefits and taxes for the same workgroup was over $1600 more at DL.

Part of the difference might well be to the profit sharing that DL people have which amounted to about one month's salary. US rampers have ????

DL people prefer to get the REAL education, not IAM filtered, manipulated, and excluded data.

Then explain this?

http://www.glassdoor...7_D_KO16,26.htm

Average ramp salary at Delta is $23,230.

You do realize this is the first section 6 TA since 1999 because of the two chapter 11 filings?

Ford and Harrison's talking points isnt a real education, DL is paying them millions to stop the union drive.

Keep spinning your information, everyone has called you out on how you spin and twist words.

Stop beating around the bush! I really don't give a damn if everyone in the United States are IAM members, the fact remains "IAM MEMBERS VOTED OUT THE IAM............PERIOD".

Now that we have that out of the way and since you want people at a company you don't work at, to vote in a union you don't represent and I'm sure you want them to make an informed decision, you'll give the answer, since you apparently know everything about the IAM!

Sounds like some "Current IAM Members" aren't too happy !

Will a membership rebellion remake the IAM?

"The election for top officers in the IAM comes as the result of a Department of Labor ruling to uphold a complaint by United Airlines worker Karen Asuncion, which charged the International with violating the democratic rights of members when it prevented a competitive union election for president and other top offices in 2013."

"Their complaints all seemed to be the same, and that was that our dues were too high, and our executive council was too big, and they were overpaid--their life was too extravagant, their expenses were too high. If [union officers] spend more in meals in one years than the average member earns in a year, we've got a problem."

Remember when you vote folks, the names at the top may change but, it's the same old, tired institution taking advantage of their members!
