It's not nearly as innocent as you portray it. The intl should've never gone above the districts head and forced a vote. You're just as predictable as WT.700UW said:You are still spewing your misinformation.
The IAM members at Boeing rejected the first TA, Boeing and the IAM went back into negotiations and reached a modified TA, the District Leadership at Boeing didnt want to take it out for a vote even though they agreed to the new modified TA.
The IP stepped in using his constitutional granted powers which was voted on and ratified by the members and brought the modified TA out for a vote.
And low and behold, the members exercised their democratic right to vote and approved the new modified TA.
Once again, keep spewing lies and misinformation.
And that vote secured more jobs for the Boeing workers and job security.
And the members that voted and are under the CBA are dues paying members so your statement is another false one.
So Gerry giving you wrong information once again.
Yep, don't want to shine a negative spotlight on the IAM at other companys....we need more dues paying members here!700UW said:This is about the IAM campaign at DL, not Boeing.
There are two threads in the Water Cooler about Boeing.

the difference being that WT supports organizations that actually benefit those that make it exist while the IAM at least for airlines takes from the masses to benefit a few with little of anything in proven benefits that can be shown. It's not nearly as innocent as you portray it. The intl should've never gone above the districts head and forced a vote. You're just as predictable as WT.
