What do you think about the Tentative Agreement with IAM M&R?

ask those IAM leaders why they are letting the company to contine sending the west airbuses to san salvador? they are letting them out sorce 50% work the 737 are going away and they are letting them replace them with 320 c-checks, if I remember right Mr. 700 was slmming the IBT for letting AWA send work out when it was accually sent out before they came on property. and they ( the IAM ) are doing what they claimed the IBT did. its time to vote no and then run the IAM out of town!!!

There are TWO Certificate's Remember America West & US AIRWAYS, The 95+ AWA Airbus's Currently ARE NOT APART OF THE East Contract, So The Company Get's to Go Have Them Done in TACA, for Cheep, unless there is an Agreement Like the T&A, There will not be any AWA AIRBUS"S going to CLT.OR PIT. for HEAVY's. Get the Picture. The COMPANY can continue to OUTSOURCE the AWA AIRCRAFT till The TWO BECOME ONE. We Will Face LAYOFF's if the T & A Does not Pass. & The WEST WILL NOT GET ANY RAISE's for Years {SAY 2012} HUMMMM NOT GOOOD. Think about it? :eek:

Another Point in the T & A thats Good, %50 Percent of the A330's, 757's,767's,And AWA's {95} Airbus's, It Save's 200 Plus Job's for Three to Four Year's, with Securing JOB's thru 2011 & Beyond,It also Help's with Merger's, We Get 50% of all New Aircraft from Say other Airline's that,Merge? think about it? :unsure:
 
Better no raise and get to maintain the benefits rather than give up way more than we stand to gain - The outsourcing of the Airbus is why the company has not and will not just roll us under the east contract. The TA does nothing to protect PIT or alot of other stations it just makes it easier for them to close line stations. NO is the only logical choice. But ya gotta give em credit they did get the positve space for themselves.
 
Talk about Merger possibilities - Great Point - it gives up or should I say surrenders the CIC language - So they can run amuck if there is another merger.

1st of all eagle by you being on the neg com. you work for us not the company, and you being ex ibt do you not remember all the slams from the iam about the ibt? by agreeing to continue to send out our work how does that save jobs? you have been brain washed! per the iam contract that is in place without changing thier scope the airbuses must come in house! you are giving up all this stuff ( c-checks, profit sharing, the Change of control, and all our west benifits ) for what a cost nutral contract, we on the west are losing more then we will gain. If you want to be a company man or work for the iam you need to step down from the neg comm. like you have any say anyway what we hear is your just sitting at the table and can't even open your mouths, only the iam heads can do the talking. what kind of committee is that. I only wish I could be there tomorrow to tell them ( the iam ) what I think but i'm sure the will get thier due!

isn't it funny your the only one on the west that is for this POS ta the rest of the comm and the other guys are against it. and yes I will sign a ibt card right now! come on down to the line we'll get you a card to sign. the IAM has lied to us since day 1!!!!!!!

The company has something up thier sleeve or they would not have moved to get this agreement nor would they want the CIC back so bad. Mr. Eagle needs to pick one side of the table then stay there. This is Doug Parker's "0" Cost Contract that we told him to shove almost 5 years ago. It was not acceptable then and is even less acceptable now with all that has happened. No is the only correct vote.

considering the context of this being in an industry that will be full of mergers, the COC is worth exactly what the mechanic pay was prior to bankruptcy, since the pay parity letter was explicit that the adjustment could not go downwards. What were mechanics making before bankruptcy? $29hr? That's what the COC is worth then if there is a merger. That's why the company wants it and wants to get a contract now. NOT because they want everyone on the same pay like Dougie sez.
