Nobody in phx is going to loose their jobs if stations are outsourced. From what I know there has to be a position open on the ramp before someone can transfer over which is fine with me as there are always positions open with the revolving door of employees here.

You know this BS IAM union is nothing more than just a business that is only looking after its own interests, whatever happens or agreement is made is first and foremost going to benefit them.

hey I figured out how to do something new. Can anyone in phx tell me what 33 yrs gets out there. I have been thinking the dry air would be good for the knees

33 years??? Good... GOD!

I can't fathom anybody being around there for that long.

I don't even think America West has been around that long. Didn't HP start in 83?

At any point did you ever just go F*CK it, I'm DONE!

I do it just about every day and Ive only been there for 2 years hahah!

I'll tell ya what it gets though: A handshake from Doug Parker and your face in the US Airways propaganda magazine, hows that sound?

Lets say they outsource and there are 400 people from those stations with 5 or more years of seniority.

Take the 400 most junior people from the system and send them a letter stating a possibility of furlough. ( you can get them mostly from the west seniority list)

Send the outsorced people letters with the stations that the 400 junior most people are employed. By seniority they pick where they want to go and are awarded by seniority.

I would guess that 1/2 to 1/3 of the most junior would be from PHX. ( just a guess )

It's either the street or phx. You would be wise to consider seriously the outsourcing language.

Many are just waiting to go west. Picking up a furlough notice as a free ticket to get a free moving trip to displace someone junion in PHX will be just what the doctor ordered for most people who are stuck in the snowbelt. I don't know what kind of crack some in PHX are smoking listening to RR but it's in the East agreement and it's a lie when someone tells westies that someone can't displace into PHX unless there is a job opening. If 19 west stations are forced to close, the workers sacrificed would be from PHX as I can imagine a great many from those 19 stations would want to commute from PHX. At any rate, the NC must protect these stations.

blown,

glad to hear you like dry air.. CLT is not the place for you to much humidity .. PLEASE .. stay away.. the burgh crowd is killing the 25 yr

guys in clt .. CLT is not your friend.. :D :D :D :D

mike,
very good post . Your dead on.. That's how it works..

Tim,
I'm guessing RR isn't really worried about getting bumped since he has already punched his ticket out of PHX on Randys coattails

well I'm wondering what RR's Karma is like because it could come back to Bite him in the arse.. Cause according to the scoreboard

don't think RR will be jetting out off the PHX ramp anytime soon.

Trust me, PHX isn't all it's cracked up to be anymore. The air quality is terrible, and the summer heat will kill some of you older folks. PHX used to be a nice place to come retire at, but now it's more like LAX.

Go there with someone that can hold day shift and you bid the night shift. Work 2 doubles and a single/ fly home.
People do it still from the last furlough

geez chill,
from the look of your avatar. Is that what happens when you hang in the desert sun :D :D :D :D

blown,
you really should consider phx. I hear they got good retirement Facilitys.. LEAVE CLT alone. nothing but

a bunch of NASCAR FREAKS.

West Stations,
Realize this ..I have 23++ years and my days' of shoveling
snow may be done. You vote in any agreement that benifits you....
read it deep...you may not be around to benifit from it...
I have no intentions on leaveing where I'm at ...BUT READ
everything.

Thanks

Oh we don't read out here. See- Canale negotiated the teachers contracts back when I was in grade school and literacy was thrown out for hot dog thursdays.

Im serious. Ask the guy I have typing this for me!

Mike, I swear you talk out of both sides of your mouth.

Earlier in the thread, you threatened to transfer stations in order take Bagchucker's job with your greater seniority, and when when I brought this to your attention of the irony, you later claimed to have mispoken, the comment was a mistake and apologized to Bagchucker. Furthermore, you then attacked me for being wrong about the bump-and-flush and chastized me suggesting that I need review the lengthy CBA on the matter, do you remember? I do. Now you are claiming it can happen again, and better yet, you have proposed plan??? Oh, the additional irony! And oh, my aching head reading these amazing contradictions on your part! Once again, I couldn't make this stuff up!

So Mike, is this your final answer or are you going to change your mind again like Ann Hecht during an "Advocate" celebrity interview? Like so many in here, serious creditability issues to their opinions and "facts".

So Announces Jester.
