it didn't present a problem to anyone passing out AMFA cards in PIT a few years back....don't see why it would now....possibly at some overnite station with a steward with some type character disorder.....??
nothing in this day and age suprises one anymore, sorry to say.

any station mentioned??

The company authorizes OT not the union.
But isn't the assignment of OT dictated by the contract?? And if that's true, I thought the company wasn't allowed to interfer with union activities........as written.

dictated? its spelled out how its called.....usually by seniority and who hasn't had the opportunity to work it.

OT is something the company needs so its their call when/where/how many.

Dictated too strong a word I guess. But if it's all spelled out and it's true, how could anyone be denied OT? Then a grievance is filed, no doubt.

The IAM DID tell recalled AMTs in CLT that if they sign a card that they would be back on the street. Fact.

They should be careful who they threaten.
Teamster supporters are everywhere-working and on the street.

1,100 cards is no where near enough to even force a vote.

Keep trying!

Are you counting the cards? I thought you were an IAM member?? And what is the number of cards required....officially, of course.
