Rumor has it that you are short on cards, anyone ever involved in organizing knows you never file with only 35% of the cards.

The source in PHX has told us.
And of course, your source or any other source for that matter is reliable??? Or is the "mole" that Dell alluded to??? LOL

My source told me otherwise.

So........guess we'll all have to wait for the showing of the cards.

when the NMB shoe drops we'll see the IBT in a panic with their pants down due to less than 35%....
cats outa the bag regarding your card count....gimme a break...its over. ;)

Barbell Corp.
The transactions contemplated by the Tudor Agreement are expected to be consummated simultaneously with the closing under the Agreement and Plan of Merger (the Merger Agreement) entered into on May 19, 2005 between America West Holdings, US Airways Group and Barbell Acquisition Corp., a Delaware corporation and a wholly owned subsidiary of US Airways Group. The Merger Agreement provides that, upon the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in the Merger Agreement, Barbell Acquisition Corp. will merge with and into America West Holdings (the Merger), with America West Holdings continuing as a wholly owned subsidiary of US Airways Group.

Almost anyone with a backbone is not in favor of the IAM - Have stood up to thier methods before and will continue to do so.

BE IN A UNION FOR THE MEMBERS NOT THE UNION.
YOU HAVE A VOTE WITH THE TEAMSTERS USE IT.
Very well put. Be in a union for your fellow union members and not in a union who ignores it's members.
And you didn't even say who to vote for..........just vote!! ;)

As for moles. You can only have a mole when there is a secret, something that the IAM is used to - SECRETS.

The Teamsters have been holding meeting that are open to all HP and US Airways employees for months and are completely open.

Hey let's throw the IAM a bone-you can have the so-called mole vote. There aren't enough of you hiding under rocks to with the election anyway.

I guess it's a SECRET who the mole is also........at least that's what we are led to believe.

Very true........even as a currently non represented employee, the IBT INVITED all of us to the meeting. I have requested information from the IAM via e-mail and NADA....NADA DARN THING. Guess I was too open and non secretive about my intentions. The e-mail probably self destructed due to it's openess and honesty.

Makers mark is right - inorder to have a mole you have to be hiding something and the teamsters have had and have always had an open door meeting. The IAM just does not know how to deal with open doors, availability to the leadership, and honest communication with the members. I can say for a fact that prior to the contract talks and the merger I knew who Andy Marshall was and did talk to him when ever an issue came up. He even answers and returns calls to the IAM membership. Airwoman can not even get the IAM to return an email. No moles or secrets here its all out in the open.

Maybe the "mole" that DellDude was referring to isn't a Teamster after all........maybe it's an IAM member. Or maybe it's all BS. New poll????

Yeah........what AWA Contract said.......not even a return e-mail. Sure makes me feel like the IAM gives a :censored: about me. :(
