But since you asked, life is great! On vacation, going to Robinson helicopter maintenance school for a week. Kids got all "A"s, are healthy as horses and my wife of 28 years and I are beaming from ear to ear. Valentines day was exceptional (wink, wink). Merging with AMR and the seniority issue is SETTLED in the MOU. Moving up the Captain ladder quite well and new reps in PHL. Profit sharing check shortly and pay raise and pay back this fall. Back to running 4 miles a day and flying average 10 hours a month.

Hitting on all cylinders and loving it.

Yes you're acting angry and bitter. We don't know yet how the seniority will play out. You're acting like it's starting to sink in the Nic is it and reacting with denial and anger. If life's so good, don't worry about it. I'm worried that if the Nic is used, you're going to be the one beating your wife. Are you sure you have the right guy? My marriage has never suffered, although there was a time when "mean-agers" we're problematic. But all those other parents that also had "mean-agers" told me we'd get threw it and we did, I'm happy to report.

It makes sense. If you can ignore binding arbitration and repeated court rulings it shouldn't be too hard to create a fantasy home life.

Does APA accept the Nicolau Award, a DOH list, or an East and West list from USAPA?

I don't need to read the rulings again and again like you guys to see where I can misinterpret someting in my favor. The rulings are clear. USAPA is free to negotiate it's own SLI. And, there are numerous LUPs.

Arbitration plain and simple. I don't see USAPA being realistic given their existence.

Does APA accept the Nicolau Award, a DOH list, or an East and West list from USAPA?

APA has no control over what USAPA tries or attempts to try. I think there will be some spectacular fireworks early on.

Does it go to arbitration?

I can't imagine anything else. We've got far too many wide bodies on firm order and in production that I suspect the USAPA will try to position LCC pilots for.

DOH/LOS is out. Unworkable.
