Respectfully disagree. This merger is still tentative. It has yet to pass DOJ review. What if it never happens? The 9th clearly stated the West needs to have a contract memorialize this for harm. And by the way, the West just overwhelmingly voted for the MOU. Best pay rates ever. Harm? Also, they were urged to do it by Harper and Leonidas under the false pretext the MOU was as good as a JCBA. They did it knowing the Nic was not in it. Not the fault of USAPA they got fed poor legal advice. Read their filing. They are way off the mark on their understanding of labor law. Again. They are opening themselves up for a possible re visit to the 9th if an AZ court screws up again. This time it will be totally clear what has to be met. They are the ones treading dangerous ground, and spending lots of money they will need for their on and only chance later.

If this goes to the Ninth again and the judges have to repeat the same order of dismissal over near identical circumstances of lack of ripeness, they may very well award costs to USAPA.

Get your "facts" straight. Most of your post is crap. Regarding east pilots hired in 1989 I have a friend hired in 1989 who had 6 years LOS in 2005 and was on furlough.

I had 10 years active service in 2005 and hired in 1989.. Shuttle...
Now 53 % on the FO list and you want to put all your newhires in front of me and put me at the bottom.
keep up the spending boys... Your leapfrogging is an embarasement.
as Dave says.. SYIC... fine by me... we tried to talk it out, now I hope we use all and every means to drag this out and drain you poor...

PSA didn't fail. USAir did. Western and United tried to put PSA out of business for 35 years. USAir accomplished that task in 3 years.

Did the Pit Hub faill? Or LGA and BOS? What adjustments were made in those "failures'"

Honestly...

PSA clearly failed, there is nothing LEFT of IT>
I'm ex shuttle and My route structure is alive and well and providing jobs....
Yours is not and even then your trying to screw the junior folks.

Hired in 1989 but only 10 years LOS. One simple question.

Did you bring a job to the merger?

The west new hires brought a job to the merger.

Yes we trying to talk it out. The east would not listen so we hired someone to decide for us. He decided that you did not bring a job and therefore were placed below a pilot that did bring a job.

So easy even an east pilot should understand.

Of course only the east didn't listen. You are such a victim.

USAPA Communications put out a good FACTUAL Litigation update today, instead of all this spinning BS on these boards.

However, for those of you who are not paying dues and are not MIGS, who cannot access the update, just trust the BS that AOL is telling you and keep sending those checks.

EOA,

So do you carry the same thought process forward with the merger with American and US Airways concerning cash on hand, passengers flown, number of aircraft operated?

Should the American pilots be accorded deference in the SLI process because of the scope of difference between AA and US regards to size, cash on hand, fleet, and international destinations served?
I was quoting us dispatchers, what he was saying about the respective strengths of each carrier. I didn't express an opinion.

Since you asked, we have strengths AMR didn't have as a stand alone, or absent us, their future financial goals would be problematic.

Factual. OK that is funny. If you take that as fact you are going to be very surprised when this ends.

But thanks for the evidence in the DFR case. The west could not have written a better update to help our case.

Dude, it's already over. You just don't know when to quit. I expect a spanking for you at the hands of the Federal Court shortly.

Yeah, this from the largest BS spinner on these boards.

Just keep funding AOL, however, their case is weak and doesn't have a chance....obvious to anyone who doesn't believe in home spun BS.

I am not ignorant, just stating the facts.

Why would American want a merger with US?

Parker told me personally he did not let US fold because Southwest would have gotten the best parts and AWA would have gotten the crumbs.

AWA had no money but we all know Parker is good at getting it.

Calling your failed carrier scumbagairways does make me feel better because I once worked for a good carrier which has since been dragged down into the gutter..... by scumbagairways and I can remind myself that I never wanted to work for scumbagairways.

Embrace your anger, Pi, it's cleansing.

Eyebrows raised in numerous HR departments when these fellows submitted their psychological tests back at legacy carriers. They are an angry lot. Would not surprise me if this was the tire iron pilot your MEC is discussing. Although Res Judicata is most likely the strangest. Would he submit to a polygraph if asked?

Cleardirect is surely the biggest windbag on this forum. I would be embarrassed to spend the time he does.
