Parker made some comments today (reflecting ones he already made to the unions last week) at a JP Morgan function. No luck on a cut and paste, but basically he is "looking at it" but does NOT consider livery to be a big concern by the public.

I also could really not care (as long as the pay is in “green”) but will say the 737 I saw last week in DFW, under overcast skies, looked cheap and dull, not silver.

I agree it definately doesn't look silver. It kinda looks to me like that color of gray that you often see on the 'steel' of things like pull up bars and inversion tables for the home. I was focusing more on the red, white, and blue of the tail, which is what bothered me the most on the internet pictures. That actually looked much better in person than the photos.

Like you, I don't really care, but if I had my druthers, they would just paint 'American' on our current scheme. I wasn't crazy about our scheme when I first saw it, but now I think it is the best looking scheme of any United States airline I can think of.

You are to blame with the divide you gave Parker on pay. That gave the eastern div. pilots the insight to realize your intent. Stupidest move ever, and it cost you your Nic. Your leadership stepped on their cranks, and Marty was too stupid to guide you. When this is over, it will be one more mistake that cost you your prize. It all started at Wye River. You totally underestimated the eastern group and they have won the war. SYIC means another Benz for Mrs. Harper. How many have you bought her? One a year for sure. College for the kids too!

It appears that you & luvr are competing for top liar. Don't worry, you still lead the pack in ancient videos.

In the previous post that talks about my return and subsequent rise to my current position, I was responding to Res Judicata's post about how much money East pilots have wasted. In my case, it was not a waste of money. In fact, I'd say that USAPA has only cost me about $2000 (All Tax deductible) more than ALPA over the last 5 years. I would say that is a much better scenario than being furloughed under the Nicolau award. I'm sorry that you took it as bragging. It was merely stating the facts of what has happened. I told you 5 years ago that this is what would happen. No secret there. I wish we could have come together years ago and sorted this out, but that didn't happen. As you say, "there is nothing to sort our or negotiate". So we have what we have and it will be what it will be. If you're sore over how things turned out, maybe someone should have listened 5 or 6 years ago. I think we could have come to an amicable solution back then. I realize that it is way to late now to go any other way but litigation, but it didn't have to be that way. I'm sure 5 years ago you thought i was crazy when I said this would take 7 or 8 years to settle. But here we are.....5 years later.....still waiting.

No worries- it'll all even out soon enough. You'll always have your rightful place on the AWA/ US combined seniority list. Now, the only question we have is the American SLI

I bring up a touchy subject, provided the court transcripts and they all retreat to their castle. It was so earth shaking the while website crashed for a day.

I was trying to use my "classic" movie clip to get them to come out of hiding.

Would it be better to use shiny objects? It works with fish and my wife and fish.

In another thread , Captain Sully stated the timepiece would be very useful in timing the end of funding of Leonidas, as well as the time of the destruction of the Nicolau Award.

Funny, I think almost the same thing! It will all even out soon enough and you will have your rightful spot on the combined AA/US seniority list. Till then, you'll work in PHX, the East pilot will work in the East pilot bases, and the AA pilot will work at traditional AA bases.

Do they have the highly sought after but rarely heard from Capt. Al Haynes model in stock? Model 232.

Gee, we had the pit bull at the table for us to. Where did we go wrong? Was it that the FA's actually wanted a contract? The last JNC ask was ~150 million, the comprehensive usapa as was north of a billion.

Wasn't delay the desired outcome?

Had you accepted the Nicolau list, we would most certainly be on a second post-merger contract. You would have at least $175,000.00 more in your wallet, more time off, & a better contract for quality of life.


And yet, the Flight Attendants with a roughly 1/4 ask the size of ours were only able to ink a deal as of last week.

Why do you even post anymore. You have been proven to be a liar too many times.

After 6 years of keeping the 190's on the east coast why would the company now make PHX a 190 base? The cost is the same and the short haul commuter routes are on the east coast.

You guys are the ones that want base fences so keep those 190's and the low pay. That is what you want and what you voted for.
 
I think the MOU states if I'm displaced to a smaller a/c I get the greater salary...

Luv seems to think PHX will be 190 base, and I'm blocked out of the 5 new A330s being added this year to the fleet because of usapa's inability to achieve a contract in 8 years....

And I'm sure we PHX folk aren't going to follow the a/c we brought, maybe Bulogg will arrange to furlough us.

Let me know how that works out. For some strange reason I don't think it will.
