Feb / Mar 2013 US Pilots Labor Discussion

This merger will make the US /PIA merger look like a picnic---though I know one thing for sure------10,000 pilots at American WILL NOT

Probably not, I sure hope not. But it was PAI, not PIA. That is Pakistan. Just a little personal pet peeve. ;-)

I see a some lists of USAPA "failure" here today. Here is the latest rundown on Marty's strategy gaffs:

"Everyone vote for the MOU, ripeness will ensue. Oops. Scratch that. My bad. Never mind, we have to wait for the POR...no wait, we have to wait for the JCBA...yikes"

"Latch on to a meaningless term (as far as DFRs) called LUP. Oops. Scratch that. Won't survive out of the AZ courthouse womb. My bad."

"Hey, some lawyer in the Company wrote a letter 3 months ago, we are in like Flynn.....Oops, forgot about that pesky MOU..my bad twice on that one!"

"Tell you what folks, I am out of ideas. Lets tell them we won't sign in their F/As on overnights. That should do it."

Cut to a scene of Dick Van Dyke tripping over living room ottoman.

DOH with conditions and restrictions to protect.......

The west told you a long time ago what you could do with your screw job and tube of lube. Pull your head out and listen really carefully the American pilots are telling you the same thing. As for the flight attendants , DOH was in their union merger policy. It wasn't in ours and no, it doesn't matter what USAPA has currently as it's policy. That ship sailed a long time ago and there's allready a list.

Thanks snap; that ad was a good chuckle. ;) Thank God we can at least laugh here at times, even as this sorry mess eventually hashes itself out.

I had to jump on the "be careful out there" the Fed Ex commercial was perfect.
I hope you watched that movie clip. It's good to come out of the trenches like the true story from WWI.

Unless you have a wire on me how would you know what the APA guys are saying to ME?

Actually, I have not talked with enough of them on the line to say either way. But down at the union hall all is well. They are NOT afraid of litigation, but don't want to get near our issue any more that we want to get into their situation with TWA. They will have their list and arguments, we will have ours. Just like Parker, they could care less about our little spat. The M/B timeline rolls on no matter what, and we all still get paid if you guys and gals want to keep isolating yourselves in a stagnant crew base.

Greeter

(don't know what is going on out there in your showers, but you sure all talk about "lube" a lot.)

The next aol lawsuit will tie this up long enough for single carrier status to kick in an evaporate USCABA. Hence, no objections to using the Nic. Court will usher in the Nic one way or another. The company isn't stupid and they're neutral as well. APA is a real union that actually WANTS to avoid a slam dunk lawsuit.

Yeah, even idiots realize unions are designed to protect members from law suites and do nothing to protect member seniority.

The only ones talking about isolation is east pilots.

Locking the west into PHX and the APA out of CLT, PHL and DCA with long tall fences.

It has been the east that delayed integration not the west.

Another Harper gem of an idea. Really?

Do I insert this new cockamamie plan on the timeline before or after not signing in the East F/As?

And to save you some donation moneys, it is already considered and will not work as you say. Your agent in M/B is and will continue to be USAPA, until there is a JCBA including a ratified joint list. But thanks for the entertainment.

What?

Usapa filed a law suit against members not protected them from law suits. RICO.

Usapa has done nothing to protect west seniority.

When the NMB declares a new bargaining agent what legal right does usapa have anymore?

After the NMB declared usapa the bargaining agent how long did ALPA continue to have any legal rights?

Why would you think that usapa would continue to have a legal rights after the NMB rules?

What document, RLA, LMRDA, DOL any alphabet agency can you point to to support your theory?

Marty has failed to deliver most everything, save a 3 million dollar legal bill.
