CACTUS call sign

GOOD, I like cactus. Better than US. Wish they would call the whole *amn airline cactus.
 
...but by using either call sign he will split the pilot group...

..."Cactus" may appeal to the West but it does not appeal to the East...

I think the East pilots trying to steal the West's jobs through Date of Hire already split the group.

I like "Cactus" because it reminds the East pilots that this is not the same company we worked for 18 months ago.

Damn right! After 22 years in the right seat I'm "entitled" to the left seat! Don't give me any BS about choices either. I chose to work for Piedmont. I (and most east pilots) didn't choose to work for USAir, we got bought and got DOH. We got bought again and will get DOH again. Thats the way it is- live with it, it was your choice to work for AWA...

Can't we just leave all this up to the arbitrator? BTW...you can forget ANY arbitrator buying into a date of hire argument. You get what you bring to the party, no more, no less. It's all right there in the US/Shuttle arbitration.

You kept them on the F28s and gave them merger date seniority if they left that plane, you did not do that to any other pilot group.

That's right why should the west pilots wait 5 years for all the top seniority positions? They should have them all now.

That's some fine unionism, taking all the worst of ALPA's past and bringing it into the future.
