Aw Tables Resolution-agrees To Doh

Well we too can pick up trips from what they call the ETB board, which is an Electronic Trade Board. Blockholders can post their trips, if they are picked up that reduces their line value. If a reserve picks it up, the trip is paid above your monthly guarantee. Montly guarantee is 71 hours. 20 hrs from the ETB, you got yourself a 91 hr paycheck.

Yes I understand the ETB Board, but my question is can your reserves pick up trips from Blockholders from another base? At America West; our reserves can do this, but seems at US doesn't allow this. I hope this is one of the things that can be improved and changed. We need as much flexibility in our contract as much as possible.

I understand I am not from the NE myself ... But with the last few years up here you learn to adjust to all types and your skin gets a little thicker. But it will be nice to have some soft hearted folks in the bunch - god knows we need em!! :D

NO, but we have brought up that subject to our local LEC. Would be nice to be able to pick up an ETB from PHL, I'd be picking up Intn'l trips...heehee. My personal opinion is, if they can assign me an out of base trip, then I should be able to pick one up on my days off from the ETB. What difference should it make to the company, the trip is covered, thats all they need to be concerned with, its my responsiblity to get there, just like its my responsibility to get to my own base for any other trip.

Well this definetely needs to be addressed to our Officers, but I think the reason why the Old US doesn't allow this is because i heard you're not allowed to commute if you are on reserve.

Our reserves are allowed to commute, but they need to give themselves plenty of time to make it to their base or they get the pink slip if they get alot of DNRAs. (Did not report as assigned)

Now that this DOH thing is finished, does anyone know when they are going to sit down and work out the transition agreement?

I wonder if we west FAs will finish our (section six) negotiations? It would help rase the bar before integrating the /east/ and new /west/ contract.

I am so sorry that you feel that I am mean - I wasn't trying to be... I hope if you do hold that Junior line in PIT then you go for it full force ahead!! I am sorry that you think I am mean though I just was stating a fact and I thought it was funny b/c people don't understand - which is what i would do if someone asked me that in person - I would laugh and then be like no seriously - not in a mean way at all - if you met me you would no i'm just kinda full of sarcasm!
She really is full of sarcasm=)

Date of Hire...As it should. Congrats USAirways F/A's.

P.S. Who does Clue By Four work for, American?

Signed,

UA F/A

(Former PS/US employee...been there, seen that...DOH...PS-US-PI merger)

I don't think Clue-by-four works for an airline.

I think when its time to blend the contracts, maybe we should look at some of WNs workrules. They have the rotating reserve, and they also have the ability to drop/pick up trips from other bases. AND they can swap bases as frequently as possible.
One gal I know who lives in PHX, holds a better schedule in BWI, then trades all her trips away and picks up what she wants from PHX.

After all, if they don't want to pay us much more, they should make things as flexible for us as possible, especially if its something that won't really cost them anything.

Hey that works!! AWA is the pioneer of low pay and expanded flexibility because of the lower pay. AWA FA's love their options and have some great things in the contract thay others may not know about. According to the negotiating committee..the newest reserve system that has been negoiated for the new TA (which or may or may not happen), they claim the new reserve is good enough to attract more senior bidders for it.
