Article 4 Industry Comparable Pay rate

Anti-AMFA meeting in Dallas today?  Pls tell us this will be filmed.  As many of phones that are out there it shouldn't be too hard.  I assume the TWU is putting this meeting together and not the company?  Looking forward to an update on this meeting Chuck.

better yet instead of an ANTI-AMFA campaign why doesn't the TWU do a positive TWU campaign istead.

You still don't get it, do you?
 
AMFA, TWU, IAM, IBT, all are failing to protect the profession.
 
And the reason is goofs like you use the failures of the others to justify the failures of your own. And use the comforting feeling that as along as someone else is suffering failures, then that will justify the continuation of your own.
 
Until ALL AMT's get into one union and stop being used against one another, ALL FOUR unions will continue to suffer setbacks in this industry.
 
Go right ahead overspeed, continue to rehash the problem over and over, it is the best path for our future.
 
But just a thought to consider as you remain entriched in protecting that which you personally suffer from...
 
..As long as you view someone else suffering major setbacks, as a reason for you to feel better about and justify your own demise, then things will never change.
 
The thing that really cracks me up, is the AMFA idea of ALL AMT's in one union still hasn't been tried yet because of beliefs like yours, yet, you keep claiming the idea has failed.

i hate to be a bearer of bad news, but i observed anything with the TWU on it the guys throw it in the garbage. so let me give you a money saving tip......

You have the most qualified TWU rep at jfk to help you. The ex-twu Deputy Director. I am sure you will utilize him more than Gukelberger and Owens.

Love to see the fliers and literature and emails on how the TWU saved our jobs and careers. I am sure NWA will be the lead topic. Our concessions of 2003 and 2012 bury the NWA story 10 times over. Lets start with the additional 4% hold out of OUR equity money for administrative costs. No straight answer on the Prefunding refund.
 
I would like for the TWU to tell us why we need to stay with them and explain how these concessions listed are for our best interest.
 
1) Two Tier pay scale
2) Two Tier vacation scale
3) Five paid Holidays
4) Reduced holiday pay multiplier
5) Elimination of double time O/T
6) Ten days of IOD pay
7) Elimination of retirement Prefunding
8) Elimination of Penalty hour
9) Frozen Pensions
10) Reduction in Shift Premiums
11) Elimination of Longevity pay
12) Elimination of meal allowance
13) Removal of Cap on Flex benefits
14) Transfer lockout from 6 months to 1 year
15) New Line qual test (virtually impossible to pass)
16) Elimination of Profit Sharing
17) Crew Chief bid interviews
18) Lowest 401K match of all unions negotiated
19) Why we have to match 401K (other unions get contribution, NO MATCH)
