AMR Files 1133 motion

AA hired many ex PanAm workers as well. Hired lots of EAL workers before that and scores of Butler ( peoples express) workers before that.

Oh like Delta buying PANAM! Yea PanAM workers did well with that move...
Pan Am should have liquidated five years sooner than it did.
The biggest mistakes airline workers make are falling in love with the brand and not uniting into one union and having portable seniority. As a result we end up subsidizing failing business plans and engaging in a race to the bottom.

Yes well said; finally someone sees the wizard, but not the man behind the curtain.

He is the bankruptcy court judge who is bound by law to protect the rich and damn the poor.

The judge perpetuates the system so that there is no bottom in this race.

Dead airlines should remain just that.

It appears there is unrest within the unsecured creditors committee due to this "Motion in Limine" request. Does the TWU want the whole committee removed from the 1113 process?

After reading the above I'd say this is a good move by our legal team calling bullshett on biased backroom deals.... ;)

I call the same BS on TWU secret Negotiations and everything else they do.
Biased Backroom is great when the TWU does it to others, when someone else does it to them, they wimper and whine.

I wouldn't put up with that BS Informer. You should go to the next membership meeting of your local and give them awful people a "what for, by golly".....lol

Why would Bobby Gless be on the retiree committee for the unsecured creditors?

Dallasnews:
Winding up the morning's debate, Jack Butler for the unsecured creditors committee spoke out in favor of American's plan to reject the labor contracts, saying the company had made the case for needing that relief.
"Putting aside the question of strategic alternatives, the committee supports the debtors' business judgment of a standalone plan" while in bankruptcy, Butler said.

No wonder the TWU wanted to bar the committee from speaking at the 1113 hearing.

I will ask again. Why has Bobby Gless , who has no affiliation with the retirees, been placed on the committee for the retirees?

Pretty funny.....

Does Mr. Gless have the education to make decisions for those that are already retired?

I believe his education has been well publicized. I would speculate it an opportunity to utilize his active role in the current process to pay back Koziatek for past deeds?
