It would be more believable that no "Union Official" has the ability to listen,comprehend, and type at the same time. Couldn't they have hired a teenager, that happens to be a relative.

You really can't let the line guys and geo pay go, can you?
We are all in for the fight our lives here and ou keep rehashing an issue that is no longer an issue.
But think about this.....NO ONE is getting line or geo pay......NO ONE!
However, if the t/a...and I say "IF" the t/a allows for OH to use a greater number of OSMs and possibly downgrade a great number of AMT's to OSM in order to save jobs....AND the line guys DO NOT take a paycut......I guess you could say we got line or geo pay at the expense of OH......
The t/A could have us all take a paycut to save OH jobs as well.

Maybe you are hoping that the TWU sells out the line guys and agrees to outsource line operations. That's your right and opinion.
But I offer this to you......All airlines that went bankrupt and all low cost carriers HAVE LINE MECHANICS AND OUTSOURCE OH...

The LINE vs OVERHAUL debate is as far from your problem as you could imagine.

Again, the problem is the LAW and the LAW MAKERS, along with the important fact that your Union and the AFL-CIO continue to believe that participation in that arena using money from your paychecks is the answer. The fact that this strategy fails is why you guys fight with each other over meaningless garble. The fact is that if the correct strategy were in place, you would need each other so bad, you would stop the bickering right now.

No need to apologize....I understand others started that debate...
The problem is we are all screwed in one way or another.
Its just a question of exactly WHAT the t/a is and WHEN it gets implemented.

You the man Buck! You've definitely made great contributions here to inform the masses but the 'line vs ovrhl' seems to be the weak link. And not just you. No matter how much we on the line have blamed TUL for our issues, it genuinely has to fall on the TWBoo. Informer used the term "Union Member" . We don't just become Union Members when we start paying dues. Folks need to be taught the history of unionism and what it means. This is a definite failure of the TWU and will contribute to their downfall in M&E. Nothing to be gained by the L vs O issue and we all need to put that behind us. Keep up the good work.
 
Sadly, I think the TWU will contribute even more with this T/A that they are so secretive about.
Yes, however you must give the TWU some credit. Instead of just taking the Term Sheet, they will save hundreds of jobs.
