He was a former VP for council 66, then was elected president but didn't finish his term. He was forced to resign under the pressure of a recall campaign when members found out he was making all sorts of added income via inappropriate expense reports as well as double dipping. A huge recall campaign was started and he resigned before he could be recalled. Formal charges were filed against him with international over the fiscal issues and he was found guilty on some of the charges and forced to pay back money. Let's just say this fellow "speaks with a forked tongue."
The kicker? He's planning on running for president again and must think that the members of council 66 have short memories, but we don't. We have not forgotten and if he does in fact run he better put on a flak jacket, because the anti-Lehman campaign that will come out will make the previous recall effort look like a walk in the park.
So, as you can see, union dysfunctionalism is alive and well in the west!
