AA and Labor Negotiations-2020

Your issue is with medical ..right??
Correct...the IAM was offered an additional $3000 for having to change plans. I think it's a sellout for our union not ask for that since we are stuck with the extra cost AND allowing every single work group except Fleet to receive a $6000 signing bonus.

I totally understand why someone would vote no but your base it on what someone is getting not what you are losing. I understand why they are trying to give the mechs 6k bonus their retro would have been much more. i dont know why stores is getting 6k but im not going to vote no because of it i would be hurting myself considering we wont see a contract or years

Well how much is the +3% probably about the same as the profit sharing so yes i would preit hourly

About $1900.

They would have to make many, many billions in profit just to break even, never mind adding in extra hours, holidays and the 401K match on that.

People screaming about the DL PS, thinking they'd get the same payout. Man!

No agreement is ever going to satisfy everyone and as I said I’m not happy with some parts of it but to let this go down and return to the table maybe 6 or more months down the road would be saying that you were willing to take a chance on economic changes that could effect the company or other factors we have no control over.
So the ball is in our court to take a chance to improve our benefits right now and move on.
For those in maint by all means keep signing cards and make sure these group of folks don’t negotiate another agreement in the future

After the dust settles with the work groups and oil is resonable they could probably do 4 billion a year

what's Delta's pay and vacation?

Ramp: $32.29/hr.
Maintenance: $46.72/hr.

(base rates only)

Both groups “top out” at 5 weeks of vacation, but we also accrue Personal Time that you can use for sick time, vacation, whatever. We get 56/hrs. of that a year, and can bank up to 3 years worth before using it or selling it back.

You know as well as I do it will pass, AL. I just want questions answered from my union who I pay dues to. That let down their membership and I want to know their reasoning or excuses...

All we screamed about collectively was something to vote on...now as an individual after receiving the AIP, it's your duty to vote on what's best for you and your family. I will do that and question those who brought it to me and hopefully gets some answers.

Looks as though Maintenance will really leapfrog Delta and become industry leading (in pay). Fleet looks as though we will either be even or maybe a penny short.
