2015 Fleet Service thread

I lost my election and I lost badly. Very badly as a matter of fact. But since I'm getting so many certain individuals who are doing everything they can to rub my nose in it, I guess I did effect some people?

Don't worry though. I've decided I'm going to give some people what they wanted. I'm going to sit back and watch the show. I'm expecting lots of fireworks where I work and am going to really enjoy this.

I'm planning on learning golf. Always wanted to learn that sport.
Relax brother. I hope you take this right, i.e., you are a horrible politician. You shoot straight, and don't kiss people for their votes. Don't get me wrong, I'm a horrible politician as well. But I hope you don't 'sit back'. Look, when the members voted against me, I gave it my best and said I wouldn't seek nominations again. And I'm not. BUT that doesn't mean I'm sitting back. Whether you win or lose, when you serve the members as a candidate, you do a good thing and bring out very good things in making the union and its members accountable. I hope you continue to serve the members even if not in a candidate capacity. I know I will. In fact, I'm supporting a very very good ticket that will challenge our own IAM district again. Elections are very important and the necessary primary blood of any democratic union.

This is a early April folks joke...isn't it?

No it is not.  The IAM is destroying this ramp craft and this industry.

Hopefully, Parker is a nice guy because we aren't going to get anything other than what Parker wants us to have.

Is this a new deal for Hawaiian? That reserve stuff is not worth the effort to work at an airport. I know they are a much smaller airline but that's awful. If that is their new TA I'd hate to see what they are working under now. And for the union to bring something like that to the members is even worse. Looks like a bankruptcy deal a judge shoves on you. Sad.

the only difference between Klemm and Parker is where their check comes from, actually Parker probably has more integrity

Shouldn't you be on the Hawaiian site encouraging them to vote yes, that it was the best the IAM could do.As far as D is concerned ribbing him about the election is getting old already.I guess he knows how Mondale felt hahaha couldn't resist

I figured out who he is. Morning guy on my gate. Dropped his wallet once and I picked it up and gave it back to him. It had a few hundred in it.

I should have taken the money and thrown the wallet in the garbage.

When me and another guy gave it back to him he didn't even say thanks.

Should say everything you need to know about the guy.

But hey if knocking me is how he needs to get his personal kicks, more power to him. Anything I can do to make a member feel better about himself I'm down.

If a guy can't handle a good ribbing he shouldn't even put himself out there to be active and even try right?

Better to just gripe and moan about how much you hate chit I guess?

Happy Holidays to you and your family.

That's all it is, a ribbing nothing too malicious. You learn more from your failures. The same to you and yours. Oh and if I ever lost my wallet and you found it,  you would have a $20 lottery ticket in your hand within the hour.

I probably needed a little dose of humility honestly. My feet are now firmly back on solid ground.

But?
