Now you're boring me, I do not have the time you do, ok I said it, feel better, but I do have pubic hairs older than you. This is my day off and I do have more interesting things to do than conversing with close minded know nothings who only agree with themselves within the confines of this forum. You Dave are just a "what if?" guy, well I never commented on the thought of you running for some position at the International, and I still maintain "No comment" I will not stand in the way of a person whose political aspiration is with the very same mechanism I do not agree with or wish to support or be apart of. Likewise you should not browbeat with "what ifs" at every turn. I will vote YES period, even to the slight chance it may come back to bite me in the balls. Respect MY right to choose, regardless of the implied theoretical detrimental outcome.
Bob I'm going to ask the people I know if they can bring us back something that should knock you out for a little while. I figure an extra .20 or .30 cents per hour above that DL + 3% should do it? I don't really like the idea that others will have to go with you but maybe a little humility would be a good thing for you?

You're lucky though that I'm sure the negotiators will say no.

Think I got you figured out though. The real truth. You got started here in the airlines real late and have nothing saved for your retirement. You're desperate. You see the future coming and it's a future where you're going to have to work a lot later than you would prefer. Dude I am sorry for you honestly. It's horrible I'm sure that you're in this situation. But sorry I'm not going to vote yes for something just to give you a little cushion to save yourself.

I think Norm Peterson on Cheers said it best. "It's a dog eat dog and your arse is shaped like a T-Bone"

BTW Thursday off? Oh boy you are one senior dude there.

Your negotiating team took 8 months to get their act together. How could they come back with a contract that even suggests concessions? If they do the association would be a complete failure.
I have no clue what they are going to come back with? Put I'm 100% positive in overall value it will be far larger than what AA is currently paying for our labor.

I wanted to come back to this because it keeps making me laugh. I am NOT running for any spot in the International. I'm currently a Steward (Not even a Chief Steward) running for an E Board position in my Local against 21 other people (Pretty horrible odds huh) I was not a rep last year and I was still here and other places plugging away. And if I lose and am just a clerk again next year I'll still be here and in other places plugging away.

I've never been to the International in NY or DC and have never even been to the ATD in Texas. The only thing I get in the mail from the TWU is those cards wanting to sell me life insurance (Already have it) oh and my quarterly Steward stipend if I don't pick it up directly that gets reduced if I miss a Union meeting (I've missed 2 this year)

Hope that clears things up for you and others Bob?

After reading that autobiography I'd say you might get 2 votes also explains why you have so many posts. How about one of those mail order bride places

How about growing a set and coming over to D 24?

You and your friends never do. Just a bunch of miserable nasty little rock throwers who talk about people behind their backs like a bunch of little girls.

Cowards.

I'm afraid just like Parker  is afraid to come here for another town hall and answer your questions. You know sooo much I wonder why you even bother to ask questions.

I would have actually preferred your bald friend had done it but I guess he doesn't have the testicular fortitude to challenge those people for the members he wants to represent? And since he made the deal with Jim Weel it might have been embarrassing if Jim had let us all in on something?

Never saw you up there either?

Happy Hollidays. Enjoy your marguerites.

That even has less of a chance than the Association becoming a good thing!

You ARE the one who came in after us. I don't place you anywhere near the time I have spent in this company. I still have T-Shirts and Jackets with triple the time you have.

You don't even have enough time to walk past the gate I work on much less work on it.

I like that line, WeAAsels!
I once had a Lead tell me the same sentence many years ago when I first started working widebodies.
He (in the same breath) also told to come and talk to him when I got weekends off..........
About two weeks into the bid, I became one of his best crew members on the gate. That motivation later helped me become a Lead.

Makes me remember my low-time days..................
