Six days since the first day of negotiations sitting and starring at each other across the table.
How long until the Ass and AA actually start negotiating a contract for it's members/employees.
W, you're relayed all the top secret info, what say you...whenever  the company gets damn well and ready?

Oh I forgot, don't rush it!
If I do know anything why should I say it here? Didn't you say to me just the other day that you want to hear it from them? Well I agree with you now.

Happy Hollidays.

My Bad, you didn't mention ANYTHING about the IAM pension, but still your math is wrong. Here at LAA we earn up to 5.5% or dollar for dollar or 100% match up to 5.5% of our earnings pre-tax as long as we also contribute 5.5% and above.
Are you screwing with me?

You have to be because there is no way you are that dense............

A chart is not math, I want you to show your own calculations and prove my math wrong.

Put up or shut up.

I am glad I don't have to depend on you to make change for me when I buy a hamburger................

I can't speak for you but my wife works for American Airlines (under the TWU) and ONLY gets a 401k. She came in after pensions were frozen.

You need to peek outside of your bubble my friend.
I don't need to peek out of anything as I know the facts very well. People who have seniority with the company don't need to be told how companies 401k plans suck. They know what they have lost. And the pension sucks also compared to the past . UPS is about the only place I know of that has a decent pension and they get around 120$ for each year of service which kind of shows just how weak that other plan is. It's really the same as the 401k. You're not enlightening anyone with your talk about the 401k.

I don't think you speak for everyone Talos.

That being said I HOPE you are wrong. I hope what I said will wake some people up.

Don't waste your time with this moron (troll la la lI ta tI do fa lI lo do di da). He said he would leave these forums and now has returned.

He would be right there with the rest of the scabs in cutting your throat. Ignore him and he will slither back under his beidge.

It is huh? Alright I'll make a proposal to you that you have to vote yes or no to?

I propose we ask for $40.00 per hour. In exchange we agree to give up all non core work. Meaning we only load and unload planes. No bag runners, Bagroom, Freight, etc. And we agree to only staff ourselves in the major hubs (retaining of course our seniority bumping rights) and a $25,000 penalty if someone agrees to move. No guaranteed job protection if your seniority can't hold a position. Oh and just for good measure we also agree to no part time cap or Crew Chiefs.

Ok. The proposal is now on your desk. How do YOU vote? YES or NO?

WeAAsles said:
Oh Bob forgot to add. We also agreed to no recall rights on that proposal I gave you. So when you do become unemployed you can only come back when you are rehired. (Maybe in 10 years) And then you have to start back at the bottom of the pay scale and work up again. Oh and forgot to also add that we agreed to a 17 year progression for that scale.

Yes or No?

I would not say I have returned Glenn. I would say I made a pit stop to remind everyone that American Airlines and the TWU are cheating the membership out of their retirement (a condition of employment when the employee accepted the job) while American Airlines rakes in record profits.

I felt that was worth my time though I knew some petty person would comment on my mere presence (and you did NOT disappoint).

By the way you misspelled bridge..... moron

You're boring me, no I will not make a copy of my pay stub, and do you beat your wife? Because I sense a lot of anger still.

You ARE the one who came in after us. I don't place you anywhere near the time I have spent in this company. I still have T-Shirts and Jackets with triple the time you have.

You don't even have enough time to walk past the gate I work on much less work on it.

What part of that can you not figure out?

And Bob you still have never answered my question? What if I am offered a contract that I know for sure will knock you out and maybe even for quite awhile. Are we going to vote yes for that together?

Now you're boring me, I do not have the time you do, ok I said it, feel better, but I do have pubic hairs older than you. This is my day off and I do have more interesting things to do than conversing with close minded know nothings who only agree with themselves within the confines of this forum. You Dave are just a "what if?" guy, well I never commented on the thought of you running for some position at the International, and I still maintain "No comment" I will not stand in the way of a person whose political aspiration is with the very same mechanism I do not agree with or wish to support or be apart of. Likewise you should not browbeat with "what ifs" at every turn. I will vote YES period, even to the slight chance it may come back to bite me in the balls. Respect MY right to choose, regardless of the implied theoretical detrimental outcome.

Your negotiating team took 8 months to get their act together. How could they come back with a contract that even suggests concessions? If they do the association would be a complete failure.
