The 22% part-time in 3 yrs concerns me.
The PT issue was what they were arguing about for so long. Is any of that PT language a grandfathering?

I've only had time to peruse their TA so far.

That's a lot of time to be away from your family. Maybe that is enough incentive to get things done,on second thought... Does the association pay for room service and escorts?

I think it should read Good luck to the members.

The proof will be in the pudding as the old saying goes. But to answer your question directly, yes.

The way it looks to me, these guys are going to be only going home on weekends to see there family at least till the end of March according to all the weeks they have scheduled. Whether they chose to be in those positions or not you have to say that it's a huge sacrifice to make for all of us.

Everyone wants this done ASAP and that's what it seems like they're trying to do. I don't think showing them a little support and thanks is too much to ask for or give.

Oh look a mechanic posting here, talk about a double standard from them.

They whine and complain when fleet posts in a maintenance thread, yet they are hypocrites and post in a fleet thread.

Why good luck to members when you've got a team of negotiatiors from both the TWU n the IAM. I wish all the committee good luck. Its not easy when dealing w those donkeys from the company

Not that it's any of your business since you are neither,  but yes, there are topics of mutual concern brought up on both on threads which are a concern to both groups.  Everyone in those groups  have a right to respond to those issues.

Our negotiators ALL took the same pay cuts that you and I did in 03. And how many guys in the International were still on the floor back in 03? Alex Garcia was Local 568 President (pay cut) Sean Doyle (pay cut) Dave Virella (pay cut)

If you run down the list of "people" who are part of the International or ATD I'm sure you'll find a few others who we can say, (pay cut)

Oh and all of them want their prefunding match that's owed to them just as much as we do.

TWU = People.

Bet we can easily throw in quite a few IAM guys who've taken pay cuts over the years as well.
