anybody know how "reconciliation" talks went last week? when is the next one scheduled? since they didnt bother with an update online.

If your making the comparison I think your making, I've heard enough from you. Let me spell it out. Basically what your saying is the boys from 591s leadership (the soldiers) cant do anything because the association twu/iam  (Obama), are making policy i.e. calling the shots. To me, this sounds like you are making excuses for 591 guys not getting anything done in the way of getting us an agreement.
 
Unfortunately this sounds very similar to their constant spin, which us to constantly blame everyone else for everything they cant get done.

That's exactly the comparison I'm making. What would you have a Regional VP or Section Chairman do to get the Ass off their Asses and get us a good contract? I'd love to hear your response.

The "reconciliation" talks are done, they have told the TWU/IAM upper slobs that they are ready to talk to the company.

The international is in charge. Once we can accept this we can expect the same of the usual. Gary is one voice on the committee of several. What are the others saying? What's 514 saying? What's the IAM negotiators saying?

No update from the unelected, imposed association this week. Guess that's not surprising.

I should've known better to even repeat a rumor. There's no info from association, so how does anybody know anything.

As I remember the seniority issue. It's dovetailed, and tie breaker for same day seniority is the last 4 of your SSN. Lower the number higher the seniority.

BS rumor. An arbitrator ruled the TWU/AA seniority. BINDING is the word. Neither the company nor the union can undo what he did.

And as a matter of fact, the issue was addressed during the initial ASSociation talks regarding the seniority of TWU/IAM members.
 
People need to understand what the word "BINDING" means.
