Oh...the irony. It sure was nice having that card in your back pocket saying that let's see how the arbitration turns out and change the bargaining agent if we don't get what we demand. You won't have that luxury this time around. You'll have to live with the results.

 
It was hardly in anyone's "back pocket". The greed-soaked west was simply both too arrogant and down right stupid so's to not even imagine anything of the sort to be at all possible. Kindly recall that according to "you'se" group: "You won't even get 200 cards!" "Final and Binding!...It's OVER...Get used to it!" and "Send the cards, I DARE you!"...? "You'se" later strategic "brilliance" was fully evidenced at Wye River, when the nic was offered with a fence that would've expired by now. No matter, I suppose, since your group then loudly shouted how it was merely a matter of time before "The nic will be crammed down your throats"...Right?
 
Oh well..."you'se" will always, at least have the grand blessings attendant to wallowing in "righteously" indignant, childish narcissism to show for all your manifestly moronic assumptions and decisions, as well as your self-styled "spartan", "knight" and "dire wolf" delusions, of course.

Every time I read one of the West minions talk about USAPA's inability to negotiate, I get this mental picture of Parker in a Crew News looking very satisfied with himself declaring there was no need to negotiate with the litigation (West driven) going on over the NIC.
It takes two to negotiate... where was the West while East was trying to force the company back to the table???
Working in the company's behalf to write up East pilots and get an injunction against us.
 
Where was the West when we were trying to find middle ground and negotiate a compromise to move us forward???
Flipping us off...

And never more so than when the west's former MEC Chair directly asked him if and how he "should turn in" his supposedly "fellow pilots" for the heinous crime of taxiing with both engines running. Operational circumstances and conditions be damned, one must suppose, whenever seeking advance favor from the CEO for conniving against "fellow pilots". Oh well...it must have something to do with all the "Integrity" they proclaimed "Matters" on those cute little T-shirts of theirs.

A fence would have kept ALPA. Helping to get a contract and wearing a yellow lanyard would have sealed the NIC. Doing everything Marty says and sending him countless checks.....priceless!              (please read up on DFR.)

Arbitration was the compromise. Finding the middle ground? Give us what we want or we will use our majority to take what we want. Some compromise.
