West pilots ignored the wise minority among them and listened to a self promoting greaseball hired in 2004. Ferguson was an RLA expert, at least in his own mind.
The West should have listened to JR Baker, MEC Chairman before the McIlvena disaster. JR didn't like the idea of an 8 year fence but he was in favor of taking the deal. Instead the Westies hitched their wagon to Fergie and Koontz. Tragic.
