That might be right, but we gave nothing back and like Clax says a lot of people owe their upward movement to him.

I guess since you think he's Cleary.
I asked why Claxon says a lot of people owe their upward movement to him? Those are your words, not mine.

Ok, so the westies think that usapa inherited the Nic from alpa, and the APA inherits the Nic from usapa? Then why aren't you westies suing the APA for dfr since they obviously don't plan on using the Nic?
Oh that's right, the APA are your new BFF's.

What did Eric Ferguson do to deserve credit for upward movement?

Every group has their know-it-alls with a need to pretend.  We had Munn.  The Westies had Ferguson.

The difference is that the East pilots were saavy enough to reject the repetitive idiocy of Munn when he sought union office. First in PIT, then another humiliation in LGA.  AMF, and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

West pilots ignored the wise minority among them and listened to a self promoting greaseball hired in 2004.  Ferguson was an RLA expert, at least in his own mind.

The West should have listened to JR Baker, MEC Chairman before the McIlvena disaster.  JR didn't like the idea of an 8 year fence but he was in favor of taking the deal.  Instead the Westies hitched their wagon to Fergie and Koontz.  Tragic.

What is the wests problem with barging into the cockpit before the other crew is off?

Is this a standard AWA move?

Crew and passengers are not even off...

Chill man

They want to point the finger at everyone except themselves.

Pretty much, save for the "tragic" part, (the use of which term is wryly understood here).  The nic abomination, even had it been delayed, would've remained exactly that, and we certainly didn't want to ever see any of our people stripped of 17 worked years of their earned seniority so even 3-month-new-hires could jump over them. Honestly, when one really thinks about that, well, you just have to wonder in what part of the Twilight Zone or some strangely alternate universe that could ever make sense to anyone...? I'd say that things worked out fairly well overall. The worst part of all this mess is how well it's served to completely destroy any hope of group unity and played so well into management's hands. Oh well...people can only deny so many jumpseats, and directly ask the CEO how they can "turn in" their supposed fellows (just for starters here) and have any happy family result from their noble efforts.

Nice job, officers!  I'm a BIG NRA member but I don't want firearms going to where they DON'T belong.  In criminals hands.  No one wants that and that includes all law abiding citizens.  As far as we are concerning there is NO reason for the TSA to throw the baby out with the bath water.  There will always be isolated incidents but overall our people in the industry are law abiding citizens, hard workers and want everyone to travel safely to their destinations.

Happy Holidays, COWBOYS AND COWGIRLS!  YE HAWWWW!

The statute will be followed. The whole dog and pony show from Wake to now has been to placate the unreasonable. The period of placating is just about over.
