Nope, I've flown with him. He's a douche. Doesn't know his place or his airplane. I've tried to give him a break, but he doesn't deserve it. Didn't even know the proper warm up of an engine and disregarded the command of the PIC.

Maybe. He says he was improperly labeled. But, even if he was and we give you the Freedom one, what is that? 50 to 1 with the Eastern, Wein and Ansett scabs? Your company was formed with scabs and scum. To deny it is a joke.

Maybe it's just me but if my dad did that for me I would not want to make him look bad and I certainly would not want to backstab the guys I work with.

I get that. My worst fear was making my Dad look bad.
 
I've always thought that trader's views were a warped reaction to what happened to his Dad.
 
Bottom line. When I flew with him I gave him a command and he ignored it. I had to educate him on the proper engine warm up.

No. I handled it. I didn't rip him because we had a jumpseat rider. I just showed him the appropriate POH section after we were airborne. I didn't see any value in dressing him down in front of a Republic jumpseater, although I let him know what was right, and I will never forget it.

No. I handled it. I didn't rip him because we had a jumpseat rider. I just showed him the appropriate POH section after we were airborne. I didn't see any value in dressing him down in front of a Republic jumpseater, although I let him know what was right, and I will never forget it.

I would not have,done it in front of anyone, but this might be a trend where someone else gets in trouble when he fails to respond.
