Claxon, your inability to use the quote feature properly gives me a chuckle.[/quote
I am glad. Since you find it amusing- here it is again.
That is why, when the CBA comes up for amendment in 2019 you'll take what you're offered because the APA will not have the clout to support a strike. PERIOD.snapthis said:

I believe that, from the unique perspective we have here, the disparity of the "New" APA will contain so many different factions that the company will have no problem keeping our seats filled with pilots.snapthis said:
I'm glad we found something else to discuss/debate. I think the bigger picture is the trend in unionism in general and the clout that goes along with it.
American Pilot Leader: 'America West Pilots Should Join Seniority Talks'
The first step, said APA President Keith Wilson, is to give the America West pilots a seat at the table, allowing them to present a list and argue in its favor as the in seniority integration discussions.
“We will make sure everybody gets a shot,” Wilson said, in an interview. “We have a duty of fair representation, to be sure all the members are equally represented. We will remain neutral in a lot of ways, but we will sure all members are represented in the arbitration process.”
Haven't you kept up? The west gets the chance to argue before a panel that they should have their own merger committee. If they don't get it they will be represented by the USAPA merger committee, so yeah, everyone will be represented.700UW said:http://www.forbes.com/sites/tedreed/2014/09/28/american-pilot-leader-america-west-pilots-should-join-seniority-talks/?partner=yahootix
Well looks like the Easties will finally have to meet the day of reckoning.
"It is the arbitrators, not pilot leaders, who make the final determinations, Wilson noted. But he said that what he wants, in the end, is a list that American pilots generally view as fair."700UW said:
