Give it up, there is no reasoning with them.snapthis said:I think if the funds were returned, that would be in a step in the right direction.

DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE
I'm impressed.

Get familiar with the word:Phoenix said:I take it you may be referring to the "dismissed with prejudice" that occurred to USAPA's lawsuit against the APA... the one that was dropped when USAPA and the APA came to agree on the Protocol Agreement? Yes?
So lets see now... if the West were to get a Merger Committee and they agreed to participate pursuant to the Protocol Agreement.. What do you suppose would happen to any outstanding lawsuits that the West has against USAPA (like the appeal at the 9th)..
And how do you think such an agreement would effect any lawsuit you might want to take up against APA in the future...
Wye River was the point of no return, but it was Judge Wake that really gave you false hope (and he should have known better).
You guys have a new toy... What happened to "judicial estoppel"?CactusPilot1 said:Get familiar with the word:

Good luck.snapthis said:To those interested in getting dues returned from the decertified union, Kristen Day is leading the investigation.
Info from: District Director Craig Neel
He said his offices and staff have been inundated with requests for investigation of USAPA now that they are no longer the agent. His investigator, Kristen Day, will be taking the lead in any investigation. Here is here contact information:
Kristen DayDay.Kristen@dol.gov(704) 849-8653
PO Box 79303
Charlotte, NC 28271Please be respectful and point out the following:
Constant e-mails to the DOL-OLMS and to your own elected officials (your elected representatives for the Committee on Heath, Education, Labor & Pensions can be found here: https://www.govtrack.us/congress/committees/SSHR ) that are involved in labor will be quite enough to get the DOL-OLMS offices to investigate USAPA.
- USAPA ceased being the collective bargaining agent on 9/16/2014, and thus has ceased collecting dues.
- USAPA's constitution weakly allows for a brief time to conclude existing litigation and current business, BUT must proceed to close its doors.
- USAPA can not be allowed to spend the $13,000,000.00+ on NEW litigation & ventures.
- USAPA may run as a non-profit organization, BUT it can not do so with the dues collected from the membership. Those funds MUST be returned per the constitution.
Donating all the while too.snapthis said:You think that's news to me? I've been here a while.

The company will add flying where they think they can make money. MIA TLV with the connections south thru the hub will do very well. PHL TLV does very well. If we go into the TLV NYC market we will be competing against 2 United 777's to EWR and a Delta 747 to JFK. That will be a challenge.CactusPilot1 said:Look, more int'l out of Miami.
AWEsome!
More Tel-Aviv service!
from exMiami.org:
American Airlines will likely soon announce new nonstop flights between Miami and Tel Aviv, but the exact date has been in flux due to the conflict in Gaza this summer.
A source tells exMiami that the company had planned to make the announcement sometime this month or in October.
The Miami-Tel Aviv flight, along with a New York-Tel Aviv flight, will be operated by American Airlines aircraft and crew, even as a flight from Philadelphia to Tel Aviv continues to be operated by US Airways aircraft. The source stressed that nothing is actually confirmed until the flights are publicly announced by the airline.
Tel Aviv is the busiest transatlantic route from Miami without nonstop service.
