west pilots ferguson and koontz when they were running for USAPA office.  Ironically a combined contract would have resulted in the nicolau award  being consummated.  2003 hire ferguson and 1999 hire koontz wanted to "spike the ball" on the way to the end zone, they fumbled on the 1 yard line.
 
APA knows most of the East pilots will be retired by the time American Pilots are combined with USAirways pilots.  Their strategy is dealing with the west pilots now.  Think about it.
 
DOH with conditions and restrictions.  Good news west, your PHX base that you brought to the airlines will be protected.

APA announced that they agree wholeheartedly with Ferguson.  Roghair believes that the Phoenix hub is a jewel that should guarantee all West pilots privileged treatment.  The APA's primary goals in the integration are upholding the Nic award and giving West pilots access to their wide body fleet as soon as possible.
 
The APA will also be encouraging all of their pilots to purchase the novel, Code Name: Dodger on Amazon.

 
Indeed sir. It's my understanding that the APA's currently holding fundraising drives for the building of sacred shrines to "St. Nic", as well as monuments to "sparta" in every domicile as well. Some rumors still even hold that their long-self-promised "Billions in Damages" are to be given the "army" of leonidas' conquering "heros" asap! It goes without saying that all in PHX will see their nic wishes come true, and of course be given free reign over all the American and east USAirways people...After all; "This is sparta!", so what other outcome is even conceivable? Well, other than perhaps "Mayday! Mayday!...I'm going down!"...?
 
P.S. I don't wish to at all discourage any devoted "spartan soldiers" from continuing their "righteous" jihad, and can only attempt amends for any flippancy by suggesting that every one of "you'se" buy at least a dozen of these beauties, and never forget that "The Shield of Leonidas is Protecting You!":

On another note, congratulations to Captain Sullivan on his retirement! What a great guy, and the fact he had that long ponytail all those years of flying was classic! He does a great job of concealing it.

I would pay some money to see a film of what's happening in USAPA HQ right now. Perhaps they knew they had lost and just took the money from the MOU and were waiting until the hammer dropped. Or maybe they actually believed their stupid rhetoric. It's clear the rest of the world was tired of their ethically challenged behavior and lies and deception. Now the string has run out on them. Adios is right.

Looks like there will be a vote, but for anyone besides the APA to get on the ballot there needs to be a showing of interest greater than 50% of all pilots. This showing of interest is due in 30 days, and then there will be an election. So we all get the choice of voting for APA or Nobody.
