Thanks, I'm sure in reality most of us on this board would get along just fine flying together. I'm still surprised when I hear about the allegations of east and west aircraft tampering. Even when talking to guys that would deny jumpseaters we're all in agreement about one thing. If we catch any of our guys or gals tampering with an aircraft there's not going to be much left for the CP to discipline. Time to sign off. Good night to all, east and west.

It was actually revealed in both airways 10k AND the testimony of none other than DOUG PARKER. I'll provide the 10K and Parker's testimony again if it will help. (It won't because Westicles only belive what they heard on the internet).

I never had the pleasure of more than a few passing words with the man. It's good to hear that he tried his best under impossible circumstances. I didn't know about his medical retirement, but can fully sympathize, having a few years back lost a half year+ to 4 surgeries on the same eye to get the dang thing to work right again. There's more fun things in life than being even just one-eyed-blind for a short period...Kinda' like the turn left versus right at any stop light = Everything's fine/or "sh-t!...where'd THAT azzhole come from!?"/crash...sometimes it's just plain luck for any/all of us. I hope he's doing well in life now.
 
 
I flew with Jack Stephan when he was brand new, It might have been his IOE on the BAC when we flew. I gave him my normal newbie speech during our evening "debrief" which consisted of explaining to him that no matter what his or any pilot's opinion of the union or unions might be the union and the pilots were the only ones concerned with our well being so it would be best to be an active member. I have no idea if my speech had anything to do with his service to the pilot group or if he was just motivated to serve, In short he is a stand up guy and did the best he could with the tools he had,

An arbitrator Bean, just like Nicolau. He took the evidence before him and came to a completely different opinion of the state of the two airlines, and more importantly ANY WEIGHT THAT IT SHOULD BE GIVEN. The question I asked that started this was "have you read it?"
 
You and your west brothers didn't save my job. I didn't save yours. I think the MERGER keep both airlines from oblivion and put us in place to be where we are today. AWA didn't file chap 11 and US didn't file chp 7, so those shouldn't have been considerations. Nicolau went too far and put us in this mess that continues today.
 
You seem like an intelligent guy and a friendly one. I think that's what bothered me about your post that I saw as continuing urban legends. I expect them from some posters here, but not you.

I have no interest in USA Today ads and fake safety campaigns which are designed to scare off passengers as a negotiation tactic of a fake union. If the time has come to go on strike, there is a process but in true Usapian form, rules don't apply. Who came up with this pink panty stuff? it's right there in court records. It fits the pattern of cops being called to Usapa offices after an assault. It fits a pattern of false RICO charges against those who the association claims to represent. Where did that lead? Dismissed.
 
I'm not interested in "USAPA" dinners with people who embrace, promote and defend this association. It says a lot about your character and morals or lack thereof to support this thug organization. I've had dinner with true professionals of the APA and it tastes better. Sigh! "character and morals"? Get back to us all the very first moment you ever hear me "righteously" fantasizing that I'm magically "worthy" of usurping the worked years of anyone else for my own selfish benefit, much less posturing that any new hires from east of the Ole Miss should become somehow "senior" to your people with even 17 more worked years than they...? We could then discuss glaring deficits in both "character and morals"

I noticed the count on the Fleet Service thread is closing the gap the Pilot thread count.  
 
Will they "lap" us?  Can we even let that happen?  Maybe we can make that the cause that unites us!   :lol:

Funny videos?  america west pilot produced videos are an embarrassment to the pilot profession.
