I am happy that AWE didn't have any A330s......I can't imagine being over the Atlantic if that's the case.

The america west jets are junk. Forget trying to push for rain repellent. Inop.
Predictive wind shear? Forget it. Chilled food and ice at the end of your flight? Not going to happen.
You have had a good glimpse at the inside of the Franke operation. It is not good.

if the past is used as an example might I suggest a sundial be used as a countdown clock?

Hmm...Well sir; I'd suppose such acceptable, just so long as they're willing to rotate it a bit when daylight savings time starts/stops for any given year. 😉

That's the beauty of PHX.. They have no DST so they can't even mess up the sundial.

An additional concern does come to mind though. Most sundials DO have something akin to a pointed top, so safety is a potential issue here, and the potential for "spartans" harming themselves above what they've accomplished so far must be factored in....Well...unless they all routinely start doing a "very careful preflight" and all diligently "Looked for dents, dings, tail strikes, anything they could try to Pin on us" I suppose...especially if the sundial came from anywhere east of PHX. 😉

P.S. None of my nonsense here is ever at all aimed at the competent and decent people/pilots in PHX, but one must observe from "conversations", videos and postings of the past 7 years, and that's not even dwelling on the whole "spartan"...umm..."army" fantasies, that "you'se" have, without possible doubt, the highest concentration of infantile halfwits ever even dreamed possible within "professional" aviation of any sort. Case in point:

Had to get the crap beat out of us today because of flying a west AC and not being able to go offshore were it was clear. Nice addition for the FAs and passengers. send the junk metal back to PHX were they can fly their new illustrious PHX CLE route
I think that may be an intentional "risk analysis", based on historical data. e.g. last week's hard landing. You don't give the keys to the Ferrari to people who "bend 'em"! Expect a few more of those beauty queens...

From your vast, personal experience: What exactly is your idea of a "Ferrari" in the sky? This should be good for some serious laughs. 🙂

Case in point again evidenced by Ms./Mr. "Ferrari" above. 😉

Poor little Fifi should change that avatar we all have better than that now.

"Poor little Fifi"..? Nah, per the "Ferrari" reference; we must reasonably assume we're addressing the aerial equivalent of both Nikki Lauda and Michael Schumacher combined, so proper "respect" is warranted. 😉  All jokes aside though; the great Formula One Champion Mr. Schumacher has suffered a serious injury and could use anyone's prayers at this point.  http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/552249/20140513/michael-schumacher-coma-condition.htm#.U3ZIPCguuok

It seems that, while clearly apart from the AWAsome likes of "fifi" and all such AWA "Ferrari aces", both Mr. Lauda and he have proved sufficiently mortal where accidents or misfortunes are possible..but then, both those latter men are "merely" World Champions...versus PHX "spartans".

Go! "spartans!"....and don't forget to go fast, now that we all know "you'se" are utterly infallible, world class "Ferrari" drivers, as well as  "soldiers", "knights" and "dire wolves" of course.

Sigh...without any doubt, the highest concentration of infantile halfwits ever even dreamed possible within "professional" aviation of any sort.

Thx for the heads-up. I forgot about that.

"You'se" now disappoint us all. One would think that a "very careful preflight" of your Airbus/"Ferrari" would've prevented any such error...No? 😉

Ever consider performing a full and "very careful preflight" on what could only laughably be termed your "brain"? 🙂

Says the guy who liked the DC9.

Don't worry about it you won't be topping 330 pay son. Now run along and go buy a Liberty tie.
