snakey,

Hope you have enough seniority to survive the layoffs that are coming.

But the twu will take care of you, won't they?

Bob: Keeps speading the lies and the Myths, maybe someday someone will believe you

And you believe this T/A is better than the 2010 T/A? You said things would change with a No vote in 2010 and they did, they got worse. Better change the batteries in your calculator.

Thanks brother, I hope I do too! So far, the TWU has been doing the best they can considering the circumstances.

The twu big dogs took care of themselves, their friends, and their families. I doubt that you are high enough up in the union to be saved.

If you don't have the seniority, you are soon going to be driving down highway 169 shedding huge tears.

"Before you ask, No I am nowhere near perfect and yes I make plenty of mistakes but I don't throw myself out there as you do trying to represent anything. I look forward to your answer hopefully it's genuine and not defensive."

And you are?

Looks like you lost this round Ken & your gonna lose the AMFA round too just wait & see, the division between the base & the line is to big for any real change to ever happen & the layoff just makes it worse because now niether the Teamsters or AMFA will have access to those individuals to collect their cards & their is a 10 year recall so they still count, forget about making a change at AA if you can't live with things the way they are then in reality your only choice is to leave & go work somewhere else like at Southwest in TEXAS not California. ;-)

Oh by the way Raptorman (Dan) said to tell you he fought like hell for this to pass & he believes he made a difference.
It's the people who fight like hell for what they want that matter not the people who do nothing more than make a 1 minute vote & complain that nothing is going their way.
I personally saw him on the bike at every lunch & every break going to talk to people who were on the fence, I don't have an extravert personality to do that myself or the drive but I appreciate the people who do because they make the difference.
He is still suspended for some reason & unable to post but said he is working on getting back in the forum for a while.

tm9,

you and the raptorman sound close. Why hasn't he told you why he was suspended?

I think that he knows.

He told me & what difference does it make, from what he tells me his suspension is suppose to be over, he can read the forum now but he still can't post for some reason but he is working on it & hopefully will be on soon and yes we are friends.

If his suspension is over, then he must have mended his ways?

Today a black chapter in aviation history was just written by TWU. An industrial union that betrayed their membership. A decision that not only affect us but our colleagues in other airlines as well. Cannot understand how a group was willing to eliminate all job protections to save jobs. Low senior yes voters are going to be out and senior no voters will stay. What AA expect from us after this backstab? Best service with worst pay and benefits in the industry? What we are waiting to kick TWU out? Hard to understand.

....until the base is gone..!!!

Look at the history of airline overhaul

I don't believe the base will ever be gone, much smaller probably & with my low seniority I may be gone someday but those are the breaks, I'm here for now & taking one day at a time.

Read pages 20 and 21 in the Outsourcing language and the YES voters just voted to ALLOW AA to OUTSOURCE ALL A/C Maintenance. The 35% language has so many huge holes you could fly a squadron of aircraft thru them. What's sad is that most voters I talked to did not even read these pages. [#2 and #3 on page 21]

Bob Owens did his best to WARN us AMT's but the TWU traveling sales show was able to lead the sheep to the slaughter.

An AMT at TULE that does NOT like the division between the Line and TULE.
