You call this a contract? This so called contract is open ended that it does nothing to protect us or position us from further damage if a merger occurs. Another major reason to vote NO.
TULE will be an MRO and will never regain what they give up if they vote this in,
Anyone with COMMON SENSE would understand that.A lot of guys are leaving the line for other jobs
so I guess some folks from TULE will get first hand experience living on BOTTOM
FEEDER AMT wages ! VOTE NO !!!

We're not voting on a contract. We're deciding weather the creditors decide our fate or we do. It's just that simple.

Again, Can anyone show one instance where the workers fared better after a judge abrogated their contracts? To think the judge will not abrogate the contract this time is PURE SPECULATION.

Communist China owns most of the United States' debt. Whats wrong with that picture?
After emerging from BK? None. It takes years to recover and some never do. US went through two BK's and they are negotiating their first contract in over six years. UA just did their first after BK ended in 2005. NW finally did but in the AMT's case all the work was already outsourced after the BK and the strike. BK is nasty and the pain it causes on labor is brutal. Only the creditors, the execs, consultants, and lawyers win.

Who will decide our fate? Not us. The TWU International in cooperation with AA management is and has in the past decided our fate. The only chance we had in the past and still have a shot at deciding our fate is to dump the TWU for a real Democratic union. Lets vote NO and WEATHER this storm WHETHER you like it or not that is our only choice left at this point. I'm not French so no surrender flag from me.

Im hearing theres going to be a big sign waving party oitside the gate this afternoon. Local 514 is paranoid saying a bunch of line guys are going to be coming here to hold vote no signs so they want to be out there with there vote yes signs. Was told the sheriffs dept will be there to keep the peace. Vote No stand tall

If the TWU local is going to all this trouble to get Yes votes that tells me that they are very concerned about the outcome. That makes me feel a little bit better about the outcome. In the past the TWU was never concerned or pro active in these issues since they knew things went their way. But now it's a different story and they are worried. VOTE NO!!!!!!! Even the company big boys are doing a road show. They are all worried.

And you apparently are partnered with the company (AA) who will be sending the American Airlines 777 to Communist China for overhaul, and you will vote yes and advocate others do the same?

So you have conerns about Global Outsourcing until it comes to a yes or no on this T/A and our own Aicraft Overhaul work? Hmmmm, OK

Really?
That made about as much sense as I heard your feather ruffle did yesterday and your constant talking at the end of other peoples Q & A. In my opinion those 777s were going to be outsourced one way or the other. It isn't a question of if or how but when. Until China puts themselves into a situation to where they close their borders and hold the worlds widebodies hostage or everyone accepts and demands everyone be held accountable for 145 standards instead of trying to lobby for laxed standards the trend will grow. Europe has been holding the world accountable for emissions by charging higher landing fees etc while China kicks sand and welcomes the high emission output aircraft. U.S. companies such as Boeing partnering and granting 747 Gold Care to the Chinese all the while organizations such as ARSA aide in whatever way possible. If you and others are so worried about our "Craft" why don't you use some of your influence if you have any with AMFA to combat the monster of outsource that looms. You talk a good game and whine and #### like a pro as do your other compadres that advocate Craft but will you "Act where it really would Make a Difference"? I doubt it.

And unions like the TWU are removing language that protects American jobs in house and in this country. Nice job TWU. We have no language left in our contract to even take cases to arbitration. Don't even talk about A.M.F.A. outsourcing because they had or have protective language on outsourcing. That gives them the legal option of arbitration. We DO NOT ANYMORE! You support this????

VOTE NO!!!

You may need to read again or don't no big deal, but I made reference to the industry as a whole and China not AMFA contracts. I think everyone is well aware how you are voting.

AMFA did not stop the outsourcing of all AO at UA even though the IAM had language in the existing contract. AMFA did not stop AS from closing down the OAK base and outsourcing AO. AMFA wrote "killer" scope language at WN that allowed four lines of overhaul to be opened in El Salvador while adding ONE in-house overhaul line.

I hope I did not confuse with facts.

You wwouldn't recognize simple if it was spelled out for you but I'll try S...I...M...P...L...E

This contract is an indication if you have a spine or not. If you have principles or not. If you believe in fighting for our craft or not. If you are a twu bootlicker or not. Very simple choices. Continue to cower behind you alias and allow real professionals to "fight like Hell".

Vote NO!

Confused or not my $$ is on he will still try to argue.

No Union has stopped outsourcing to date. But it is only the Industrial Unions that falsely claim they are winning this battle via AFL-CIO Politics or Huge Cash Poiltical Power.

And you should re-check your "facts" on who signed the restructuring agreement at UAL that led to outsourcing and the shuttering of Indy and Oakland Maintenance.....Clue: It was not AMFA

You correctly Politically attack Romney and Bain for outsourcing American jobs, and the turn right around and advocate a YES vote on sending our 777's overhaul to Communist China.

Really?
