looks like don v tore the pres of local565 a new one.
the letter makes sense.
PHAT DON does nothing but guaranty AA AMTs REMAIN BOTTOM OF THE BARREL IN PAY,BENEFITS,
AND WORK RULES IN THE INDUSTRY! VOTE NO !

You mean the same don v who will not take a pay or benefit cut when the membership does?

You mean the same don v who promotes a yes vote/roll call vote when it benefits the twu?

It would take someone who is held accountable by the membership they were elected by in order to have any credibility when they "tear a new one" of someone who is elected by the membership and is held accountable by the membership and actually writes/speaks the truth.
No the Don that just dropped a whole box of truth on Peterson. You guys can't dispute the facts so you attack the individual. You know, the one that helped you get to DFW when you whined to JR. Yep Ken, you have no integrity. You accept money from the very people that are trying to trash the craft and you and trash Don the one who went to bat for you when you needed to run away from SAN to DFW.

Come on flip flopper. Tell the truth, you scam like no other Ken.

Your a piece of work.

You say "You guys can't dispute the facts so you attack the individual" Then you attack Ken and say " Yep Ken, you have no integrity."

Your a hypocrite. You have no credibility.

Not true, what I have read is Overspeed has been trying to ask Ken why he partnered with ARSA and other questions concerning keeping our Craft ie Global 145 MROs accountable to the level we as A&Ps are held. It's all out there just google it. I wouldn't call that hypocritical I would call that questioning motives and integrity.

You missed the point.

And you apparently are partnered with the company (AA) who will be sending the American Airlines 777 to Communist China for overhaul, and you will vote yes and advocate others do the same?

So you have conerns about Global Outsourcing until it comes to a yes or no on this T/A and our own Aicraft Overhaul work? Hmmmm, OK

Really?

Again, Can anyone show one instance where the workers fared better after a judge abrogated their contracts? To think the judge will not abrogate the contract this time is PURE SPECULATION.

Communist China owns most of the United States' debt. Whats wrong with that picture?

Actually there is an instance.
AFA at Northwest.
They ended up merged with Delta and better off.

We will end up merged soon too.

Ream said better then 50-50 chance by end of year.

Let's vote no, wait for merger, then talk!

I hope not we will be doomed!!!

This is why. Makes more sense than anything any of the naysayers have come up with.

"The theory that there will be either expeditious negotiations or a quick release in the wake of the rejection of our contract by the Bankruptcy Court is, at best, pure speculation. What is not speculation is that, while this process is playing out over the course of years the membership will be unneccessarily fuloughed or downgraded. The bottom line is that no work group has ever fared better after having its contract rejected in bankruptcy and those advocating such strategy will be unable to point to a single instance in which it worked."

So get to pointing all you industry sages out there!

grrrrrr

That grrrr sounds more like a whimper. You voted yes because you have the back bone of a jelly fish.

I agree, we most likely will merge, but with who? US Airways seems to be the most obvious entity. If we vote no and we merge with them I don't think we fare much better considering their track record of negotiating In good faith with their unions. Wouldn't it be better for us to have a contract in place before the merge?

Again, pure speculation on your part. Got anything relevant to add to the conversation?

You call this a contract? This so called contract is open ended that it does nothing to protect us or position us from further damage if a merger occurs. Another major reason to vote NO.
