Why I Voted Yes

you voted yes because you are an idiot, and is willing to just give up.
The will get them next time is now. The trans worthless Union has been saying since that their communist leader died.

I voted Yes ;) to get some of that profit with the profit sharing LOA 14 in the TA. Vote no and you won't get squat...

Profit sharing? Now thats funny. After AA pays off all the consultants, lawyers and the legal fees of all three unions and the 600 million exit bonus to the executives, what do you think will be left? Oh I forgot to add the payments for all those new aircraft.
Your still funny though for thinking outside the box.

What is voting 'NO' gonna do for us? for you? for our families? for our communities?.......I can't wait to hear your plan :p

American Airlines is not the only employer in Oklahoma.

Yep your right, was wondering how many of those employers would start you at top pay? From the looks of the TA in 3 years a topped out A&P will be at $35.62. I guess your just wanting to start over somewhere else at the bottom....Hey if you want to leave just Vote Yes and take the Early Out or Stand In Stead there is money being offered to go find you another job....Just a FYI

It's all about the line, all you really care about is what the "line mechanics" @ UPS get paid. If you really cared about your so called friends in AO you would be trying to save their jobs.

"feerles", sounds kind of inbread doesn't it? One look at your leader and there can be no doubt.

"Inbread" did you mean "inbred"? Why stop at UPS? Fed Ex is at $47.00ph, SWA is around $45.00ph, I realize the Tulsa membership made a big mistake when almost nobody voted during your most recent Local 514 elections. I believe most of the membership would like a "do over" on that vote. When I heard a baggage handler was elected president of local 514, I knew something like this was going to happen. Add to that, the maintenance chairman isn't even a licensed A&P! That mix was a recipe for disaster. Everybody can see how these two clowns engineered this LBO v2 to save their own asses. Then, try to pass it off as some sort of amazing negotiating skills that saved hundreds; if not, thousands of jobs. Part two in the scam, portray anybody that points out the obvious like: where did my 6th week of vacation go? Where are my other 5 holidays? Where is my sick pay and accrual gone to? - portray them as greedy, selfish, well - typical line mechanics right?

These tactics may have worked in the past; however, now you TWU suckboys are getting the busted for all your deceptions, Bottom line, the membership is on to you - that means most of Tulsa too!

AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE, BOTTOM FEEDERS NOW,BOTTOM FEEDERS IN THE FUTURE !A PATHETIC EMBARRASSMENT

Surely you jest. Two people engineered something under all the noses of the other negotiators? If they did then all the other negotiators should be fired because I was under the impression Bob didn't miss hardly anything and was on top of everything but I don't think I have read him yelling negotiating foul.

Boy, your one fart smeller...

Well, keep in mind I'm just your run of the mill mechanic..... I apollojize for the spelling airs. U du get my point..... Right? Remember, it's the thought that counts. So quit being a dumbarse.... My spelling errors pale in comparison to your thought process. If you could even call it that. Vote no and get ready to find a new yob.

That is what the company wants you to believe. The sky is falling the sky is falling. This company wants no part of abrogation. It decreases the value of stock price for a merger. They want to scare the living daylights out of everybody in voting yes. We must not take this six year sentence, We must make the company come back to the table and offer real job security and a realistic contract length.

Another reason I voted Yes.

I'm not a "line machanic".

The vote no crowd is all about doing anything they can to get the OH bases shut down in order to get the AMFA in. Why is the biggest push for the no vote coming from the line? They couldn't care less about the OH mechanics. Hell, they have a welder as their "feerles" leader. Go figure....

In the meantime Ream and other members of management are telling the line they need to vote this in so they can outsource OH and make the line the majority, then pay them what other airlines pay their line mechanics.

Like Gary said, "read the language". The language they put in place will allow the company to outsource 35% plus of maintenance spend.

If the biggest push is coming from the line as you say its because we know we cant live off what the company is offering, and we know what the job pays everyone else in the industry. Six years, no matter what they are promising how things will change is simply too long to stay at the bottom.

The sky is falling despite full planes and record revenue. Most of the fare increases have stuck and fuel is down.

AA and their puppets in the TWU are desperate to get us to accept this deal. If abrogation is so much worse for us and better for the company then why would they be so desperate for us to accept? BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW IF THEY WILL GET IT AND THEY DONT WANT IT IF THEY DO. They dont want a ruling, they want us to submit before a ruling.
