Well you know the IAM is up to their eyeballs in it! A whole weekend passing by before comment mean that there must have been a lot of conference calls and legal discussions as to how the IAM could put some "Distance" between them and the "Twenty Five Twits" (can't think of a better name right now).

Imagine if Chiames had waited a whole weekend before responding to the Christmas Meltdown. How does it feel to be up to your arse in stupid?
Will definitely will be intersting to see what everyone has to say, IAM,FBI & all authorities involved, NMB,ect.

So did you interogate all of the people involved to come to that conclusion or are you just stating your own opinion without any facts to back up your statements?
Hey Sev, Did they take you off your bus and leave you at the wrong stop again?

Were the '25' there to turn in their cards then?
How could it not be premeditated? Were these people sleep walking, or did they just go to the conference room for the coffee and donuts??? They knew exactly what they were going to do before they walked into that conference room--that's premeditation.

Would LCC need to meet some burden of proof to fire the folks? If a person is not speaking to LCC because they are under criminal investigation, would LCC need to wait until the criminal process moves forward? Oh wait, I remember reading that some of this was on tape.

Hmmm.. If I were LCC and I had tape and felt comfortable enough with identifying the folks, I'd fire first and ask questions later. If it costs LCC million dollars to fight lawsuits resulting from accusations of unfair dismissal, I'd just set up the account now.

How much would they save by getting this mob culture out of PHL?

The company is free to take action.
And I'm sure would agree that they need to take swift and hard action against these people. In addition to getting to the root of the problem and taking further action if needed.

You mean distancing themselves from the twenty-five twits who were all signed out on union business? That press release ought to be a piece of art worthy of Michelangelo.

The funny part is, that no matter how bad it looks for IAM, 700, our own "Baghdad Bob" will be here to spin it into something postive for them.

Hey retiree, when are you gonna add to the topic instead of trying to make it about me?

And yes the company should take action against all involved.

But the ironic and sad fact is the IAM has to represent them by law.

You have to be nuts to defend the IAM in this situation. I lived it for a long time. I feel it is corrupt all the way through.
